It's so stupid, we've been having fantastic weather for 2 weeks and it heats up for Thanksgiving, fuck you sun.

At least next week it'll go back to nice temps.

Me: "Man, it's been real nice turning my AC off during the day on the weekends. Finally looking closer to autumn after that shitty heat wave in October."
Nature: "lol fuck you"

It suuuuuuuuuuucks. It's been three years, but my New England brain is never going to adapt. It feels like summer... and I'm cooking Pumpkin Pie...

AZ resident here. I was feeling down about it being high 80's today through this weekend, though I don't feel too bad anymore. Could be in the 90's.
I'm persevering though and still wearing my hoodie every day because its almost December and I'm sick of t-shirts.

Supposedly going to hit 81 this Saturday here in Irvine. I know that's not super hot or anything but, c'mon, it's fucking December.

Its high of 80 this week guys, not hot for socal at all. Thats the high, meaning it'll be a cool 70s most of the time which is really perfect weather all things considered.

It's been abnormally mild in Colorado so far this fall. We're not even close to 90's, but in November we were above average almost everyday (60s-70s), with only a tiny bit of snow. I really like warm weather but I'm kinda missing those cold days where it's nice to just stay inside the cozy house. We've barely gone below 32F for lows which is really uncommon here.

I find it odd its going to be hotter there than here in phoenix. Highest temp here in the next 10 days is 75°F. Tomorrows high is only supposed to be 69°F. I'm going to need my heavier sweatshirt for that.

It's the Santa Ana winds. Whatever the kind of pressure cell it is is reversing the winds so it's blowing in from the desert as opposed to coming off the ocean. Hot dry air, wildfire risks, it's always a treat.

Glad I just noticed this thread! I recently moved here about 2 months ago. The day I arrived driving a Uhaul with my car attached to the back and my dog sleeping right next to me.......it was well over 100 degrees here. On top of that the Burbank fires were going on. It was quite the welcome. Coming from Denver, CO and realizing no more snow....I am completely fine with it.

Yeah, it's like 110F/44C outside right now. And I thought it was bad back this morning when it was 104F.

SF here. I grabbed a hoodie just in case I feel like one when it hits the mid to low 60's later tonight. Enjoy yourself down there!

Apparently I picked a good weekend to visit my parents in Portland! How hot is it in SGV/Pasadena?

It's hotter in Claremont than it is in Vegas today. The A/C has been going non-stop today. I feel for the people who have to work outside.

If you want to see what the current energy demand is for the State, Cal ISO has a live demand website that refreshes every few minutes, and also shows the current available capacity (it also shows current renewable supply).

RIP anime fans downtown.

My outside thermometer reads like 125 but I'm hoping there's just a lot of excess heat where I placed it and it isn't really that hot outside. I'm kind of scared to open the door to check, since my air conditioner is barely keeping it 83.

I have the blinds drawn, fans going, OJ, ice cream, and vodka. I should be good until I go to the theaters for ant-man tonight, where it's free A/C.

Went out for groceries and it was nasty out there. Stay safe and drunk ya'll.
