Oh man, I've missed this. Did feel a bit weird in the push minigame when I shoved someone off the top of a mountain though.

he says fantástico in english one as well.
Just checked it and you're right, uh. So weird that they put that line at all, then.

So get back on the thread. this is as fun as always. Started the game expecting to play Rhythm Heaven for some reason but it clicked right away.
It also seems like the Gamer minigame from G&W makes a comeback, but I'd swear it had the art from the WiiU game in the demo screenshot. Maybe they didn't redraw it in the new style and just used the old assets.

The websites confirm that Gamer is back, and they probably did just reuse the art from Game & Wario.

putting someone into mortal peril in 5 to 8 second slices is like, peak warioware

Yeah, I just forgot the way the game works. The first two times you get the push minigame you push someone backwards. The third time and/or ultra you push them off a mountain and an eagle swoops past.

I wasn't really that excited when it was announced but after seeing the GameXplain footage I need this. The full voice acting is a huge step up, Wario is hilarious. Mario characters have clearly spoken in full sentences in advertisements and such so I hope they start doing this with more games going forward.

Honestly my favorite Wario voice from Marinet came from around 2003-2005 where Marinet had a higher pitch for Wario. Marinet's work in Wario World was the best because they let him go all out sounding insane and high pitched. This sounds kind of reminiscent of that Wario voice from back then and honestly, I'm digging the full on sentences!

Demo looks cool too!

I fully expected this game to come and go with zero fanfare, so I'm really happy that the demo is putting it on people's radars. BTW the spanish localization is great!

Still keep a little glimmer of hope that the full Virtual Boy Wario Land game is a secret unlockable, just because Nintendo renewed the japanese trademark for it not too long ago.

Warioware is one of my all-time favourite series, so August can't come soon enough! Only tried the "Mash" (buttons) section of the demo so far but it's really good to see great games still being released and on the horizon for the system.

This reminds me of the French dub for Wario Ware Smooth Moves on the Wii:

Makes for some hilarious moments at parties. Whoever hired this actor as genius casting director.

Hahaha Wario speaking in full sentences is pure joy to listen too! Charles Martinet is really the perfect voice for Wario. Hope we get more Wario speaking in the future!

I love seeing the Mario characters have fully voiced lines! People have to remember that these games are cartoons not oscar caliber movies so i like the goofiness.

Sorry, my mistake then. I remember playing the Wii game with a bunch of friends. For me the best part of the game is to see how your friends fail miserably and look silly doing so.

I agree 1000%. WarioWare is easily at it's best as a couch multiplayer party game, hence the best in series is still the GameCube version (Wii version had nice minigames but lacked the simultaneous multiplayer challenges and superior modes of GC version). Every new WarioWare is appreciated but this is not at all what I was hoping from the next entry.

That intro was amazing. Really looking forward to the game now after this demo- another great Warioware game is exciting.

You will apparently be able to dub cutscenes with your own voice.

I love this series.

First time europeans will get to experience microgames from the best entry, Twisted.

I own a boxed copy of Twisted on GBA (purchased on release) and live in the UK. Would this be an imported copy then? Was the GBA not region locked?

I could have sworn i bought it from Play.com

But yes - great game, and looking forward to this addition to the series.

Twisted's motion sensor contained mercury so they couldn't legally sell it in the EU.

I just remembered Twisted had rumble too. I knew there was something that didn't feel right about the "Twist" portion of the demo. It's lacking tactile feedback.

I'm pretty sure that's a myth. Yoshi's Universal Gravitation uses the same motion sensor and they sold that game in Europe just fine. (Unfortunately - that game is a bust. I'd much rather have Twisted)

Heh, I remember when my local Toys R Us store here in the States was going out of business years ago, they had a bin-load of brand new copies of Twisted selling for just $15 each. Thinking how much of a rarity those specialized cartridges may be (along with my genuine adoration of the game itself), I picked up five of them. I've still got 'em in my collection today.

If the mercury thing is true, I sure hope those carts ain't killing me and I don't even know it. xD

I always thought it had something to do with certain quick twisting motions you had to. It might have put to much stress on your arms or something? That and the DS was out pretty soon or at the same time when Twisted was supposed to be released. Maybe that had something to do with it as well.
