I've tried to follow the style of the OP! We're just a part-time team of 4 making our first game, part-time, between day jobs. It's going quite well so far.

I also kickstarted this game and I think the game is still in development because I saw the game at Pax East this year.
I played the demo a few years ago again at Pax East and I thought the game was coming along fine.

Thanks for the firsthand experience. I have hopes for this game = he just has been really bad with updates lately, and being 5 years overdue it's almost a gen late.

Knuckle Sandwich takes a lot of clear inspiration from the Mother franchise and recently had a successful Kickstarter. I think it should be out by early 2019.

YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG, like Earthbound, is an urban fantasy game with a deliberate 90's aesthetic and it looks like it's gonna be really special. The website hasn't been updated for a while (it's also getting a Switch version, which isn't listed), but it seems like the developer is gearing up to announce a release date very soon.

Outrider Mako is a top-down 2D action game. The adventure of Mako carrying the treasure of God with the delivery person Bumon.
