Watching Samuel Armenteros play tonight was a treat. I'm going to be in LA for the next Timbers game and then the 3 straight home games. I've been supporting the team since the USL days and I've never been this excited to be a part of a regular season run.
Welcome. Glad to see another Timbers supporter here. I moved to PDX in 2006 and literally lived in my first apartment here across the street from the stadium. I attend almost every home game. Savarese has really been something eh?
Amazing! I've been attending games since I moved here in 2008. I'm originally from Long Island, so I somewhat randomly got to see Gio play as a Rough Rider back in the mid '90s. Obviously, I was talking him up a bunch after Porter left in the off-season, and I'm so happy that he's turned into a catalyst for this team.
yeah, his debut is going to be on Saturday, July 14th, against Vancouver, in the opening game of their new stadium Audi Field. gonna be fun
