Interesting to see where that goes, assuming he still has his clearance but now his name is out there, which will win out? DC area employers are *desperate* for folks with an active clearance, but desperate enough?

If he is terminated or fired, usually the clearance is automatically revoked. If he just quits, the clearance will expire after 10 years.

But but I was told that "political opinions" didn't matter if you were good at your job....

Considering how thorough background checks are for DoD companies, he's toast with any future DoD job

Good luck finding a new job when this is the first thing potential employers will see when they google your name, you fucking loser.

He also had a security clearance and the reason for firing is going on his record.

Good luck on getting any job that has any type of security background in the future.

No way he keeps his clearance if he is known to be part of a hate group.

He's not going to have a problem with a new job. Y'all are full of it.

He'll probably be able to get a new job pumping gas or washing dishes so technically you're right.

Actually maybe not even washing dishes since he'll probably be forced to work with minorities in a kitchen so that ain't gonna work.

I don't think these companies are suddenly woke, I just don't think they want these problems and have a microphone in their face asking why they have a racist on the payroll. Which I am fine with.

Don't know why these guys think they can be violent Nazis/racists on the the weekends and then go back to their cushy lives and jobs on the weekdays without consequence. It is true that that was the case in the US for, like, 95% of this history. But times have changed. You are much more easier to identify due to cellphone cameras, facial recognition, and how fast information propagate through social media. Companies don't want Nazis or white supremacists as employees.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You either live that shitty, violent Nazi lifestyle and accept the deserved social stigmatization it brings and lack of job opportunities it brings. Or you stay out.

Nice that this happened, but hard to imagine he will not find a job relatively quickely in another company that does share his ideology. There is white supremacy everywhere, he just has to lay low for a while.

This guy's career isn't necessarily over. He only needs to work for a smaller company with a sympathetic owner or director or HR person and he's in. And if social media complains about him getting hired, they'll tell em to get fucked. The Trump administration's blatant disregard of ethical behavior has emboldened people to not care about the loud cries of protest against their support of Trump, especially if they're not a huge corporation. I regret to say this dudes career will be just fine.

Because historically, systematically that's not how that works. Like, at all. He might have some "field" issues, but that motherfucker is also on the hotlist now. That jackasses recruitment just went up in this country.

You think that he's going to get another decent job like the one he used to have after this?

Get real. No decent company in their right mind would want someone like him to represent them. This shit will follow him for the rest of his miserable ass life.

Yeah. That's the depressing thing. :(

Nazis should not have jobs in any non-Nazi owned business, let alone enjoy the fruits of a high paying white collar position that a more deserving monority should have. Don't let Nazis takeurjerbz.

You and his next paycheck can message me about how that worked out. You think that these companies aren't on that same level? lol. How do you think he even got there???

Only non-decent companies without any integrity or morals would hire him.

Plus you can bet that many people will boycott those companies who do hire someone like that prick once they get word of it.

Today, in a status message to Northrop's internal IM system posted by Miselis and reviewed by ProPublica and Frontline, Miselis wrote, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see."

Wait, so someone on the inside rated him out to ProPublica? Doing the lord's work, office snitch. Someone get anon a coffee and a doughnut!

Defense contractor Northrop Grumman said it will investigate an employee identified as a member of a violent white supremacist group in a recent report by ProPublica and Frontline.

The employee, Michael Miselis, a 29-year-old aerospace engineer, works at the company's facility in Redondo Beach, California, and holds a government-issued security clearance of the sort required for personnel assigned to classified military projects. Outside of his professional life, Miselis belongs to the Rise Above Movement, a racist Southern California group whose members have physically attacked their political foes in at least four different cities.

Nazis with security clearance? SMH

They need to step their game up
