Whaaaaat, I had no idea there was a Supergirl movie.
Whaaaaat, I had no idea there was a Supergirl movie.
It's awful.
Helen Slater is adorable though. It's just everything else. It's probably for the best
I got tricked into watching it when I was doing a mini-podcast series leading up to Man of Steel
It's not the worst comic book movie I've seen, but I mean...
Yeah I think that works. Maybe further complicate by having the Birds have different motives. Namely, Katana has been assigned to retrieve Harley for Waller and Helena just wants to kill Black Mask. So both are really just working with Canary and Barbara out of convenience.
My big question with BoP is if they are really going to go for the R rating. Considering Logan and Deadpool, they could probably get away with it and have the movie do well. However, current pop culture trends say a diversely cast female-centric movie is big money and a hard R might get in the way of that. Maybe it'll be one of those situations where they get as close to R as possible but it's still PG-13 at the end of the day.
I forgot if it's from the comic but yeah the ice cream thing seems borrowed from Warwas the ice cream stuff in wonder woman from justice league war?
also the writing and va for wonder woman is purdy bad
Alright ya'll, who do you think will be the Birds of Prey in this movie?
I'm going with Batgirl, Huntress, and Katana. I think they'll save Black Canary for a later movie with Green Arrow.
I also think they'll cast an Asian actress to play Huntress.
Also to mix it up a bit so folks don't have to just watch LEGO movies
This week's film is changed to another Justice League origin tale, Justice League War!

Monaghan was in the credits for WWIsn't Keri Russell her voice in that flick?
I thought she woulda been a kick ass Diana if they wanted to cast closer to Affleck's age
Is The Flashpoint Paradox the only movie that has Thomas Wayne as Batman?
Yeah. Pretty much.Is The Flashpoint Paradox the only movie that has Thomas Wayne as Batman?
Oh yeah... He was in a flashback in Suicide Squad Hell to pay. Forgot about that.As far as I can remember. Not counting a small (really small) cameo in another movie,
Is The Flashpoint Paradox the only movie that has Thomas Wayne as Batman?
What's this from?
In the DCEU
Oh cool, I have that one. I should play more
they made a Justice League movie?
It's so meh. Great character interactions some cool action here and there... However Steppenwolf is too weak as the villain and the reshoots were obvious. The weak plot didn't help. All in all it's middle of the road.Came out in 84. Remember always watching on tv when I was a kid.
It's not bad on second viewing but I do notice the mustache more now. or lack of I guess.
It just should have been more. Everything was there for it to be more and that's what's most disappointing.

The titles for The Titans episodes seem to have come out and there are some interesting things in them. I'll hide them behind spoilers for safety.
Yeah, I hadn't played it in a while and with all the DC drought going on I needed some DC in me.
