Jesus I wish I didn't catch up on the thread....go to a concert for one night and all hell breaks loose

When's the next match? Can't be arsed googling. Also is it a late evening match?

Tuesday evening (7pm UK time) is France Belgium. Englands win over Croatia is on wednesday evening. Then 3rd place play-off on saturday with the final on a bit earlier in the day (4pm kick off) on sunday.

I really don't understand the salt. I can't speak for the rest of englandERA, but its actually a bonus to me to see how pissed off people get at the notion of us doing well. Like when we score, I actually come in here to see the hilarity. All it does is make it sweeter.

Cristiano will probably win another Ballon d'Or (or whatever name FIFA uses now) this year
It will take at least more 3-4 years before he needs to retire in China or USA

Paulinho is suffering physically since December, who knows if he will be 100% ever again. He's also getting to 30s, has a chance to go back to an easier league, that he already know, with even bigger wages, got two trophies with Barcelona in the bag, played in a WC and has no chance to play the next...he's probably satisfied with his career now. I wish he stayed at Barça or went to another big club, but I understand the move. Come back to Corinthians next, please.

True. Hasn't he been playing for like 2 years straight? Chinese League, then immediately moved to Barca as the season was starting, then World Cup.

I can't believe how well pickford played yesterday. So many fantastic saves - he has really proved his critics wrong and has grown so much this tournament

Not grown enough for some!

But yes, Pickford's been really good so far. Pulled off a save of the tournament against Colombia, been impressive with his shot stopping and distribution, and doesn't look phased at all by being on the big stage.

LOL people are so mad that their countries are out that they are resorting to national personal attacks. God I love the world cup. Can't we all just come together and agree that Neymar is an overrated diving machine :D
