29 to 30% of the Latino vote went to Trump compared to 8% of the Black vote. Asians also where in support of Trump with 29 to 30% of their vote going to him as well. Even people classified as others voted for 37%.
The notion that you'll have random black people supporting Trump is true but it would be so tiny that it would be on a blip compared to the other groups that voted for him.
The argument put forward was that a single person's support for Trump being associated with religious indoctrination doesn't work because black people skew heavily religious and "largely didn't fall for" supporting Trump.
But that argument doesn't work either because the ethnicity this guy is associated with also largely didn't support Trump. A black minister and latino minister supporting Trump are both outliers.
