That's the thing, though. White people know that police are their weapon against us. They call them on us because they know how these things go.

Mr. ROGERS broke racial barriers by inviting a black mailman into his swimming pool.
Teaching children that all races can and should share a pool, specifically to counter the racist events occurring at the time.
Back then, racist people could get away with that shit because of no technology &/or no social media.

The cop humored him way more than he should have. Should have just told the guy to fuck off instead of making the lady test her card. That kind of bullshit helps enable this fuckers thinking.

You know this makes sense, long time ago on one outing with many friends. We had a mishap and called the cops (someone broke all the windows on the rented car) , when they arrived I was the only non white of the group .... The cop specifically said *has he been with the group the entire time?, His people are not to be trusted*

This is a rly good scene but the context is actually hilarious if u watch it back. Mr. Rogers is like "hey it's rly hot out! Wanna take a break and cool your feet off?" (This is a rly strange offer) Officer is like "nah I'm good thanks tho" and Mr. Rogers is like "Come on. Put your feet in the pool" "O-okay"

I love how the white dude won't even look at her or acknowledge her. He knows he's being rightfully called out and so he just talks directly to the security officers and doesn't even have the decency to apologize to the woman whose time he just wasted. All I can hope for his son is that this is a teachable moment, but my guess is his dad talked to him about it later on and spun it so he seemed like the good guy in this scenario.
Good job wasting the cops' time when they could have been doing more productive things than humoring a racist. I don't know why people can't mind their own business.
