Just played Multiverse event as Robin. Guy's fun to play. Just a shame that Damian is a little shit in the Injustice universe.

Well sure, I was just saying with the DLC as it exists, I wouldn't swap Raiden for a different guest because of the Black Lightning aspect
I thought someone had spilled soda on my controller because I kept doing the wrong moves turned out release check and negative edge got turned back on from when I deleted my save the other day. Whose the target audience for those shitty controls?
Updated, got The Flash JL set, helmet looks goofy. The Nth Metal shader looks fantastic. But I can't even buy source crystals.
It'd be better for customization, but people would've been pissed if NRS announced Black Lightning then he just had Raiden's movelist. Better to play it safe and make him the clone.

Uhh, did the Cyborg JL break for me? I just completed everything, but only have the arm canon... I don't see the rest of the gear in my Gear screen for him.
I think I'm done with Injustice 2 after 6 days played I feel like I've done everything of interest to me. Anyone else getting DBZ fighter?

I know nothing about DBZ, but I'm probably picking it up because I have credit to use and it looks cool. I doubt I'll end up playing it consistently over time though because I don't have the attachment to it like I do with DC. Despite any gripes about this game, I love the DC roster and there's enough stuff I want to learn to keep me coming back regularly.
I'll be really bummed if the community drops this game as quick as they do with most NR games. I would really love a second "season" of a NR game rather than their 2-year cycle with the last major support ending Feb/March-ish of the year following release. It just feels too much like once the Turtles are out, that will be it except for some balance tweaks. I'd love to be wrong and for them to support it up until a 2019 MK11 release with a few characters and maybe some more cosmetics, but it seems like they need to be all-in on their next game by that time.
I'd say Ed didn't overhype the "big surprise" thing, only thing bigger would've been a Marvel character... now we just have to wait and see about his comment on longer support.

We couldn't have more different experiences with this game if we tried. 300+ hours in and still going strong, this is pretty much the only non Switch game I've played since it launched.
Yeah, he was on point with his interview comments about the surprises in FP2 and 3.
However, technically, the game will probably have the longest support once FP3 comes out, even if just barely, so he probably wouldn't be wrong about it getting the longest support yet if that was it, and they just trickled out a new gear piece every so often.

I'm just done for now I still wanna play Atom but I'm sick of Red Hood and don't really like Hellboy that much.
What should I be doing in the multiverse mode? I did a couple of random ones and wasn't really feeling it because it just felt like arcade mode with poor rewards.
The loading times are way too long on a normal HDD as well, I wonder if thats Denuvo's doing because MKX was much more reasonable in that regard.

It has objectives but unless it gives a platinum box or diamond you're better off not wasting your time the rewards are terrible.
There are consistently ability multiverses and shader ones pop up semi-regularly as well. Those are the most significant ones. Sometimes a character multiverse will have a shader reward too. You need to hit triangle/Y within the multiverse to see the full reward list.
You also unlock an alternate shader and see the ending for each character by doing the regular multiverse tower (bottom right one). Shortest one on very easy works fine.
Also be sure to equip a character with all rare and all epic pieces at some point when you have them. You get a one-time source crystals reward for doing that.

I wonder what kind of budget WB gave them for injustice post-release content all they've got to sell aside from characters is some crappy colors not even a stage or a skin pack for costume pieces. I wonder if they've started switching to focus on MK11 if so they lost money because I know a bunch of people dying to spend on stuff but there is nothing to buy.
I heard that my girl Wonder Woman got nerfed pretty hard in Injustice 2. What are some tips for using her this time since it's been a while since I played her. And that was from the first game. =/
MK11 can't come soon enough. I was really looking forward to this game but I'm already tired of it after about 10 hours of play because it feels like its just a vehicle to push loot boxes with shitty content. I honestly don't get why it seems to be better received than MKX was.
I suppose the gameplay itself holds up, I just haven't come across a character I'd want to learn yet. :/
They barely monetized it but the loot boxes are totally disappointing they are stingy as shit with them getting a bronze box for playing five games of ranked is awful I don't even open anything other than diamond and platinum and gear is so worthless I sold almost every piece I had except for maybe a dozen for each character and it doesn't even phase me because everything is so similar. You should try Red Hood he's pretty fun I played him almost exclusively for the entire time he's been out. But I get you after you figure out that gear is just variations on two or three models it's boring as shit and doing multiverse is torture they should give boxes out like candy who gives a fuck if someone has tons of items they shouldn't have put shaders into boxes if they didn't want people getting them for free.
Nerfed isnt the best word, she was completely overhauled really.
The JL Bats cowl is good. Nice because of how awful most of them look. Shame as gear gets rarer it tends to get more overdesigned.

I was stoked to get the Flash movie mask for this very reason. It seems like 90% of his epic head pieces are full face masks that are more in line with Zoom from the CW show.
Yea. The Wonder Woman movie gear can be unlocked thru boxes so i'd assume it's the same for the other characters.
Yeah, a lot of this gear makes the characters look unrecognizable. I mean, only a few of Green Lantern's shaders are actually green, and most of Black Manta's head options look...impractical.

To be fair, Green Lantern's shaders are based on the other Lantern Corps
Superman's set is just his ceremonial regime gear. Is that even close to what he wears in the movie? If so I might puke in the theater.
