I'm not sure why the hell Takumi keeps getting these many alts when there are other good male characters. Reminds me of Cygames pandering and shilling the dragon knights in Granblue too much.

For fan service banners like this it makes since. I believe Takumi is really popular with female fans.

Isnt Takumi there too? And from memory the last summer banners always had the same number of male and female units in fanservice-y swimsuits.

A banner is slang for a summoning focus. Basically, a booster pack, except the only thing that changes are the "rares" which headline the pack.

This and the previous summer banner have each been three women and one man.
I'm not exactly damning them for this in general. They do have men and women though it seems to be becoming a bit lopsided. I usually try to collect all of the special event characters myself.
My issue is when they select characters who are clearly meant to be underage girls. It's incredibly creepy.
Shouldn't you be fair and also include men in your view?

And let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Nintendo doesn't know what they're doing. They know exactly what they're doing. This notion that Nintendo doesn't know what they're doing is just not true. I think anyone who believes that Nintendo isn't doing what they're doing on purpose doesn't understand what we're dealing with here.

I mean, the "1000 year old dragon" meme comes from Nowi in Fire Emblem Awakening.
It's impressive how Camilla looks more tasteful dressed like that than in her standard Fates attire, that's how silly the default looks.

I don't see anything wrong with Tiki and Elise having swimsuits. It's not like kids outside can't have fun in the sun...
People hated Halloween Nowi because her outfit was kinda distasteful and Bride Sanaki because of possible connotations. But these outfits seem logical and tasteful to me.

It's less the outfit choice itself and more the fact that we can pretty much just assume these characters were chosen to pander to pedophiles. No one would be mad if the designs were being used for say a promotional picture of the Nohrians on vacation or something, but being presented in this context it's pretty clear what they're going for.

Other than Linde the rest are meh to me. We really need more obscure characters instead of getting constant clones. But of course they won't because these are the characters that sell. Oh well.
