If Waluigi DID have his own game, what would it be?

A Wario Ware style kind of mish mash where he keeps going into different Nintendo games to try and steal the spotlight but fails in humorous ways.
Who do you think is the main antagonist of that game? And have you seen his moves in Mario Tennis Aces?
He does everything he can to sabotage the other characters daily lives. Ruins Peach's cake, Wario's money making scheme, Bowser's kidnapping attempts.
I'll buy the limited edition of such a game.
I just want Super Wario Bros., and it's a parody but still real platformer... and essentially retcons all Mario games, so that Wario and Waluigi were there the entire time... Mario 3, they were right behind Mario getting the whistle... etc. etc.
Holy fuck. His very own Kagero Deception game where he's guarding the 7th star in his castle and everyone's trying to grab it. Sign me the fuck up.
It would be a stealth-based platformer basically like Wes Anderson did in this scene of Fantastic Mr. Fox. Platforming levels would be punctuated by mini-levels that evolve the Snake/Blockade formula.
Just take Doki Doki Literature Club, rename it Waluigi's Dastardly Love Escapade and replace Monika with teen Waluigi.
Tower Defense RTS where Waluigi is guarding a special sacred treasure from waves and waves of undead soldiers and monstrous spirits who will stop at nothing to reobtain it. Waluigi will not give up the treasure because it cost him $200. He doesn't know what it does or why they want it, but if they want it, he wants it, and won't give it up no matter what.

It'd be something which would lock the reset button and all joycon controls, forcing you to watch him dance around the screen shouting "WAhahahaha".
It'd be a Metroidvania. Waluigi would gain more and more abilities over the course of his journey and then take down Mario and his whole gang. It'd be beautiful.

As people have mentioned, a stealth game seems the most apt given that Wario and Waluigi are the inverse of Mario and Luigi. Mario games are about acrobatic hop-n-bop platforming and cute costume-based transformations through powerups, so Wario's games contrast by being platformers where you instead bash your enemies with brute strength and undergo grotesque physical transformations when enemies hurt you.
Since Luigi's games are about wandering through a mansion with noble intentions (to save Mario) and overcoming his cowardice to confront ghosts directly, Waluigi's games should thus involve infiltrating buildings for nefarious purposes (to steal things) and sneaking past enemies to avoid combat entirely. Has there even been a Nintendo-made stealth game before? They've had shades of it in their games such as the recent Octo Expansion, but one fully about that genre would be would be really interesting to see.

Literally just the opening to Mario 64 where you stretch Mario's face out, except every sound effect is a pitch-shifted "wah".
Just a slow life simulator. You define Waluigi's alter ego with Animal Crossing/Story of Seasons style gameplay, with a set cast of friends, neighbors, and activities. Every few weeks a sporting event is set to happen and you must become Waluigi to compete, as only characters related to Mario may enter the competition. The skills and equipment you gather between sporting events affecting your abilities as Waluigi.
When I first heard about the Mario + Rabbids crossover game, I was kind of hoping it would be a vehicle for Waluigi. Whatever the game ends up being, it should be a bizarro episode compared to the rest of the series, like the tingle games are to the Zelda series

What type of game it'd be I have no idea. You bring up a good point about Luigi's being puzzle/exploration based. (I actually had Wario World and enjoyed it, as well as Luigi's Mansion.)
Maybe Waluigi should get a exploration/puzzle game too? Or a vehicle based game? (Twisted Metal style?)

I think it should be an exploration of what he's doing during every major Mario game. And most of it is trying to catch up to Mario, and going through his own convoluted wacky side story. I.e. he's trying to get to Bowser and Peach's wedding during Odyssey and ends up on a journey through some off-brand Kingdoms and meeting a bunch of weird and goofy characters.

But a Mario & Luigi Style RPG with Waluigi and Wario trying to getthe spotlight and be the heroes of the day is really a nice idea.
Also a game like Phantom Thief with Waluigi could be cool.
