Knowing it was a front for a drug operation in New Mexico, and that Gustavo and all his workers were killers, murderers, drug dealers and generally evil people.

Could you justify in good conscience eating their chicken? I mean, the fast food looked tasty in the eps we've seen it in, can't be any worse than KFC or Popeyes. Could you swallow food made by evil people? I mean the fast food workers in the restaurant who cooked the food and took the orders looked like regular people who had no knowledge what Gustavo or his company stood for.

Yes, absolutely. I love fried chicken.

EDIT: Oh, you mean that particular location? Probably not. But it looks like a chain.

If i knew it was a Cartel front? Fuck no. I don't want that kinda heat anywhere near me.

If I didn't know and it looked like good chicken? Hell yes.

if i knew fring was a drug kingpin and regularly managed the stores in person? nah. i don't wanna be there gnawing on a chicken bone on the day that his cover is finally blown and somebody waltzes in opening fire.

I mean, if we knew they were drug traffickers and killers I doubt theydt be open long enough for me to try.

I'd give it a shot though. Just cause it's a front doesn't mean they can skip health inspections. Stuff looked tasty.

The colors of the restaurant always looked ugly to me, like a really cheap restaurant (probably because its similar to a local fried chicken store: Tarragona so Id probably avoid it.

Why would I know this information and not call the cops/FBI? I feel like eating there would be the last thing on my mind

Man, they have breakfast burritos all day.

I don't know if my conscience has ever been tested like this

he gave all these employees full compensation for a day off and all they had to do was get held hostage by a drug lord. he's not a bad guy.

Didn't they do a promotional stunt where they had a real life Pollos Hermanos location? I totally missed that.

And yes, absolutely.

I'd give them a try! And leave quickly once the cousins stare down the staff for the entire day.

Knowing it was a cartel front no, but I really like that the show went out of its way to make the chicken look delicious. Gus was a perfectionist in everything, even the dumb money laundering front that ultimately didn't matter.

I actually kinda did.
The actual Los Pollos was filmed at Twisters in Albuquerque, which I've eaten at several times (I live ~75 minutes from ABQ). Decent food, but boy is it easy to order way too much.

Obviously (hopefully) it's not a drug dealing front, but I can't say I'd stop eating there if I knew it was.

Wasn't the entire franchise owned by that German company that was also participating in the drug trafficking?
