This is mostly relevant for the Nintendo eShop, but I don't understand why some games are remarkably cheaper on the Mexican eShop, but not others.

I would imagine it's either all or none. Anyone know why?

I've been following this thread for a bit now and I see now that the ride is over. Good that Microsoft is giving refunds, but kind of shitty that it needs to happen at all. I know it's a price error, but IMO, a purchase should include the items named at checkout. If they want to remove something from that bundle, the order should be automatically cancelled.

Got a refund But I have to say, they sure made it quite difficult to chat with customer service. Had to go through a whole bunch of troubleshooting questions before a button to chat with a representative showed up. Usually, like with amazon its like one or two clicks.

Got my refund, but it sure took time for my rep to chat. "Name", I write back in seconds and then like four minutes later the reps responds and ask a new question (and so on). Took about 20-25 minutes, but went very smoothly.

If they're actually revoking the third game from those who bought it when that was in place, that's bad form. I completely understand accidental freebies being revoked, but this is something where:

The cover of the item is the art from the third game. It's a bundle named after the third game. The description details the inclusion of the third game.

As this is a preorder surely you can just go in to your Microsoft account and cancel it for a refund without contacting CS. That's what I've done with pre-orders in the past?

I'm online with a rep now and she is telling me this is a bug from the publisher and that it will still be included but it's not accessible due to the publisher "having an ongoing issue" that they are fixing. They were told to forward all accounts with this issue to the publisher. WTF?

i got a similar response after being assured that i will receive DS3. "you should contact the publisher if you don't receive it on nov 26th"

i don't at all. but i figure between the PDF i saved of my order history when it showed all 3 games in the bundle, the copious screenshots showing the bundle before and after, the chat rep putting the info in the reference number saying i should own it, and so on, the absolute worst case scenario is that i just get my money back. but it seems like more than enough info and proof to demand re-adding the game to my order history, even if it means them adding funds for me to purchase it normally.

Got a refund, took a few minutes but got it. I get it, a mistake on their end. But it's pretty crappy to use D3 to promote the original two games and then remove it. Without telling anyone about it. Bad form MS, bad form.

I just checked the darksiders website and it states that the Fury collection only come with DS 1 and 2.

definitely- no question it's a mistake, but there's enough evidence that i owned it for a period of time (and bought with the intention of owning it) and the bonus interpretation by the chat rep supporting it gives me room to argue. i plan on calling later tonight to get everything sorted.

Got my refund. For those getting chat saying you'll see the game. Is a risky gamble. I'd personally just get a different rep and the refund.

I went ahead and got a refund, I don't want to get stuck paying $40 for 2 games already available on Gamepass, I just can't trust what reps are saying when I have no evidence of ownership in my order history or library.

It's strange but I wanna say that the bundle had only been 2 games for a while now. I'm not sure why the 3rd game was added as that hadn't been the case for months prior.

And also that's up to the publisher for trying to mislead customers by naming it after the third game that's not even in it

Yeah the chances of you getting DS3 at release is slim to none.

When I placed my order this morning in order details it said it included DS3, but now that is gone. Basically all traces in your order history that included DS3 are gone so if you wait til release it's likely they won't even believe you at that time.

Seems pricing mistakes are more likely to get what you want rather than an item being in a bundle that shouldn't be

I'm not sure if it's another error, but today the pre-order for DS3 was using a 2:1 conversion rate for the Brazilian store, which almost converts to $30.

Im not sure it's an error because it's quite common for the games to first show up on the Brazilian store super cheap and get a price bump shortly after but my purchases always come through

this bundle has been misleading since day one (2017 maybe?) if you didn't know, as it uses Fury as the cover which of course one would assume that Darksiders 3 is included.

I don't think anyone is mad because they didn't honor it, they're upset because they just pulled it out of customer accounts with zero notification but kept their money and didn't send out any sort of alert of the removal.

Yeah I was a little irritated and left them a comment in the chat that even if it is a mistake at least send a "we made a mistake email" to all the people that bought it.

funny enough they did that back when they accidentally gave fallout 4 and the dlc for free. Hell i think they gave like $15+ in credit back due to that messup

Yep they did. I don't even care about the credit. I just wanted an email that explained that they removed the item and it was a mistakr so I could get my refund easier and move on.

Pretty long queue for 4 people ahead of me...to be expected at this time of night. The support rep was very helpful and got to the refund very quickly. Thank you to this thread for giving me reason to look again to see that the license was revoked.

Yeah but no one gave them any money for it back then. This was pretty shady that they took away the license but kept the money unless you complained about it.
Oh i'm not in disagreement, i'd be pissed if they changed what i payed for (even though its a mistake) and didnt offer me a refund at the very least. Making me go out of my way to get a refund isnt exactly the best thing.
When i take advantage of price things like this heres the best/worse case scenario that should happen.
Best: You get said thing. Worst: You dont get thing but you get refunded. Shouldnt happen : You dont get thing that you were promised/what you bought and you loose your money

Not too fussed it got revoked but it's really irritating they didn't email anyone to say anything, or make this whole process easier. There's loads of people in the queue today, probably a lot for the same reason. :/

Edit: Support mentioned to me that it was never meant to contain it, but refunded it as a one time thing.
