Rumor: SFV Season 4 Cast Leaked

I can see it happening, next year is third strike's 20th anniversary so it would make sense to see at least makoto and oro return for V (idk for necro). Doubtful for Sodom...as much as i'd like to see him again. As for Q well...G's story costume make me doubtful.

That would be one 'season' too many. In such a matchup heavy game, there are already more than enough as it is. This is what happens when the point is to sell dlc over making a great FG.
No way this leak is real. The two free characters and inclusion of Q are proof. Capcom isn't giving away characters and the fact G's story mode costume resembles Q's default costume in my mind means we're pre-Q in SF lore canon.

Makoto seems like a given based on who's left in the popularity poll, so I guess I'll wait until next year to really get back into SFV

Makoto was a given, but all the others are huge surprises if true. That's a lot of SF3 representation, not that I'm opposed.

Capcom has given away quite a lot of free content in SF5 when you think about it - so I could believe that part of it, tbh.
What I don't believe is that this season won't have a single SF2 rep - they are surely going to do Honda to reunite the original 12 world warriors. He's the last one now. And I just don't see the point in Q - he's just a Balrog (Boxer) clone/alike when it comes down to it, so they'd have to change him significantly... which is what it seems like G is gonna be, similar ideas executed in a very different fighter.
This feels a lot like a decently educated guess, though. Sodom and Viper seem like likely inclusions and obvious choices - we know Sodom was in planning/development before even the vanilla game was released, and Viper is the only character of import who isn't playable who mysteriously has an all-new design in some character story modes - plus her mechanics just seem like they'd naturally lead to quite an interesting incarnation in SF5. Makoto is the highest ranking character from the popularity poll not yet in SF5. I feel like those three "fit", plus Honda - which'd leave space for two more.
You're mixing up two different leaks there. There was the "Uncanny Edition" supposed leak for MvC Infinite, but the same guy from the OP shut that down by saying support for Infinite was done, and that's where he name dropped most of the characters listed in the OP.

I guess I'll hold off re-installing it on ps4 until It's confirmed.
I hate the way Capcom is doing street fighter. I would have rather them keep releasing new games with all the content, dlc and costumes. As it is, you'd pay way more to get everything than you would if they released super street fighter V at $60. The costumes in the game are way too expensive and some are exclusive to fight money. It's so hard to earn fight money you have to grind daily and I'm not going to do that.

The issue with that solution is that the different versions split up the player base, hence why Capcom moved away from doing separate Super versions of Street Fighter games.
