I feel so bad for Target employees. That Dino Ultrazord will likely be the most sought after retail exclusive of the year.

The pig is the only one that doesn't suck, simply because the awful Funko dimensions actually fit him.

25 years and they (Saban? Hasbro?) are deathly afraid of acknowledging anything that isn't Mighty Morphin'.

Literally any other Power Rangers team and villain? Nah, what about Pudgy Pig? You remember that guy, right?

It's the 25th Anniversary of MMPR, not the 25th Anniversary of Time Force. :P

That said, the 25th Anniversary episode has 10 rangers from different teams

1. Tommy Oliver
2. Rocky
3. Katherine
4. TJ
5. Wes
6. Trent
7. Gemma
8. Antonio
9. Gia
10. Koda

The comics also tell stories from across the history of the franchise too

It's the 25th Anniversary of the Morphin' team dude.

There's no such thing as the "25th Anniversary of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers". That's like Nintendo claiming that the Pokemon 20th Anniversary is for Red & Blue specifically and never mention any other generation. No, it's for the entire series. That's what an anniversary is when you count from when the series begins.

It's about Mighty Morphin' because that's what people never shut up about. It's a merchandise-based franchise after all, but there's no harm in referencing literally anything past 1995. Even if it's just the Saban / Neo-Saban / the good ones from Disney.

And saying that they are just celebrating one season in particular is rubbish unless they also do it for any other season, which I doubt. If we get an In Space 20th Anniversary line this year then I'll shut my mouth; until then I'll continue being a bitter fan.

I understand your complaint, obviously, as you can probably tell by my username.

But the simple fact is that in terms of general merchandise, the MMPR team is the most marketable for suits, the people inside them and villains. That's just how it is. I want them to move on eventually as well but considering they haven't done figures like Zedd and Rita yet, it makes sense that they still want to milk the MMPR era.

That being said, they made a point to change the series logo. It's no longer the MMPR logo but the general Power Rangers logo. I have a strong feeling that they plan on doing other Ranger groups soon enough. My hope is that they do full team lineups for Alien Rangers and Zeo Rangers.

I know why they do it, that doesn't make it much better.

They've also been milking it for--what, nearly 10 years? The "season" after RPM was a Mighty Morphin' rerun, they forced the MMPR tone and theme song into Samurai and Megaforce, and I doubt the Power Rangers movie sequel, if it exists, will be a Zeo adaptation.

I listened to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: A Rock Adventure 3 times through today

Hey Rita is the only questionable song of the album. The rest is perfection

I really wish they didn't make shitty ugly plastic models of characters whose actors that made them significant have passed.
