Starting the game now. Wonder if I will make it to 6000 before the cut off.
Join the dusty token farming group on psn, add a ton of people in the group as friends, do challenges and send them to all your friends. Beat any challenges they send. If you're lucky, you wont have to do as much treasure hunts

Yall really be getting 8 treasure hunts? I keep getting only like 5-6 and I have the platinum trophy.

I have been doing 8 every 12 hours, but they don't all come at once.

I usually get 5-6 at first, after doing them ill usually do a challenge, get next one, then do side mission. But since you already done all side missions try doing challenges to get next hint.

You get the unlimited explorer talisman (which is not the infinite shift talisman) once you collected all furniture.
They weren't talking about the unlimited potential talisman you get at 6000 dusty tokens, but the ultimate explorer talisman which comes from the treasure chests, not from dusty tokens, and, I think they were saying, is the last unique item you get from the chests. No idea if that's true or not though.

I completely did not realize there were two different ones. Thank you for the clarification guys.

As sort of a last minute hurrah, I'm dropping keys for "Free Fall," a Dynamic Theme I whipped up out of a desire to do the gravity rush theme in this post. It was my favorite adventure game on the vita, but, sadly, my aspirations to work with the studio did not come to pass (ironically NOW we have the right kind of connections, making the whole thing bitter sweet)

quote to reveal. And enjoy :(

I took JE9H-CBN9-T6AE, thanks.

I'm sad that the online is being sent off early like this. Here's to hoping that this is the last we've seen of Kat and company.

I took H2TA-8QNC-4GF2. Oddly enough, I think I'll continue using Cell Project Blue as I love it.
On topic, getting 6k is easy enough, doing challenges and stuff. Also, treasure hunts are a blast. Worst thing about the game is that pre-order exclusive dlc crap on kat's white costume.

Was able to redeem one of the codes for the theme. Thanks.

After a week of playing I'm at 5200 tokens after 20 hours in game time. The rate really accelerated the past 2 days after I unlocked the new area and I got around 1700 tokens in the past 24 hours. People using your photo to find a treasure gives you a good chunk of tokens.

Ugh, I meant to hop on before time ran out but I'm not sure if I'm going to get the chance x_x

The servers going down doesn't kill the trigger to get into the Delvool Mining Trench, right?

Always sucks when servers are going down for a game. I remember when servers went down for Lord of the Rings Conquest, less than a year after its release, only with EA -_-

It shouldn't though.

You might have time though, especially if you join the PSN community.
I finished the Dusty Token stuff way back during the launch window - under the original cost and token gain, at that - so I'm good there unless I've somehow lost my save file since then.

I'm mostly mourning the pending loss of the challenge leaderboards - something even the original Vita game hasn't lost yet, to my knowledge.

So I'm pretty sure I don't have all the Talisman treasures (I believe I got all the chapter 3 furniture) but the last two treasure hunts only gave me precious gems. Am I doing something wrong?

A quick off topic question: does anyone else get the left stick drifting a bit? I have never, ever had a game drift on my like this, even GR1, and for some reason after specific things happening, Kat will just start walking to the right as though I were angling it that direction. It may be the game is tuned way too sensitively to the stick placement, but it would be above and beyond anything else. It also does it on multiple controllers from a standard DS4, to a modded one to an Elite using a Brook.

I feel like I'm losing my mind and it's caused me grief in the game before, particularly on the "stealth" missions.

I found sliding incredible finicky. I've not had move her in a certain direction without imput, but I've noticed that colliding at specific angles will permantly cause gravity to shift in that direction. I've had much better results only adjusting my course by flicking the stick, then leaving it in it's neutral position.

Yeah, usually if she starts walking on her own it's right after I've stopped shifting and/or from shifting towards a wall and I let the stick go entirely. Smacking the stick for a second makes her stops almost every time. It's just weird to have this be the only game I've ever had this happen.

Should I skip side missions and go strait to clearing the game? And prioritise dusty tokens?

Yes. Many side missions can be really frustrating especially if you're not powered up anyway. I would recommend doing a few challenges if you think you can get gold. If you do, and send out the challenges to random folks, any time someone fails the challenge (they only have one opportunity to beat you, so that is very likely they will lose), you will get a ton of tokens.

Don't worry about doing all challenges though until later.

Also the story is somewhat long, so you definitely want to prioritize finishing it. Just make sure whatever happens you do your daily treasure hunts.

You can return to any and all sidequests, so don't worry about that.

Just got a terrible hint with picture of close up apple.

But still found in less then a minute because it was in the best area of Lei Havina

Finally got my first 220 dusty token reward for helping someone find apple!

It was probably my worst hint as well, as it was my first one I didn't know you could actually take picture of the apple haha.

This was simultaneously the best and the worst hint I've ever gotten. The evil "haha I won't tell you where it is!" Lmaooo

You can do it! Again make sure you're taking pictures of every treasure, and if you see any blue ghosts of players, click on them to upvote their photo.

Also, in system options somewhere you can set your photos to auto upload. Hopefully this will make any pictures you take more likely to get upvoted.

If you're on mission 7 and have been leveling up, I guarantee you're good enough to get gold on a challenge. Find one you're good at and get gold (a nevi damage one is good because a lot of people don't know to use circle to pick up things and kill nevi, or don't have their stasis field leveled. Doing so is way easier and faster than gravity kicking each nevi).

Made it to episode 20 last night. I don't know if it's because I skipped all of the cutscenes/forced myself to get to this point, but the game has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth, but that's getting off topic. I did the calculation in my head and i'll barely manage to get around ~6k tokens before servers go down unless I get some shitty treasure hunt pics to where I can't find it at all. If that happens more than a couple of times then oh well.

What, did you think your PS+ subscription fee actually paid for server upkeep or something?
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but GR2 online features do not require PS+. If people aren't playing the game (or buying it), there is no financial incentive for Sony to keep it online. That's just the cruel reality.

I am playing through the first game currently, but I kind of just want to get to Gravity Rush 2. It is making me enjoy the first game less than I would have normally I think.

I heard 2 is a lot longer. Should I just sorta rush through both and then start doing these? I am not too interested in 100%ing this I guess, but I do want to experience the majority of the content being removed.

Not sure, but it is really not "online" play. I'd put it in the same category as leaving messages on the ground in demon's souls, or mario kart racing "ghost" images of other players.

The bonus for collecting dusty tokens are absolutely not worth ruining the game for yourself like that.

Yeah it probably wasn't worth it in the end, but I figured once the servers go down, there won't be an opportunity ever to get the bonuses again. I probably won't touch the game again for at least a few years and to which i'll take my time to play through it.

I can confirm that GR2 online features indeed don't require PS+ (I didn't subscribe to PS+ until earlier this year, yet was able to use them before that).

Just hit 6k milestone.

Thanks Chettlar for making this thread to help get me to finish it. This game was at a one of these days to play game, and I would have been frustrated to be missing out on stuff.

And thanks all for all tips and info!

Congrats dude!

I find myself still doing them lol even though I don't need to. Now it's just to see how high I can go. I've got 11270 right now.

I went back through a few months ago and got all the dusty token rewards and plat'd it and it was kind of a nightmare. I knew the online shit was going to be trouble as soon as the game came out, the least they could do and this point is just put through a patch to make it available to everyone offline.

There's none of that in the DLC, right? I still haven't gotten around to playin that cause grinding gems burned me out last time I played.
I didn't think getting the rewards was bad. Took 6 days with sending challenges out, doing the picture stuff, and doing races. Played for less than an hour each day as well. The key was to not just keep playing after the dailies.

Regardless, I hope those who want this stuff but haven't unlocked it yet have started at this point. Otherwise, good luck.
