"The problem with Lost Sectors is that they really weren't rewarding enough, but that's been fixed."

**Dude beats a lost sector and receives a blue weapon**
They do mention that they'll have a feature later this week in that video talking about lost sectors and rewards so I assume that's mostly place holder stuff.

But yeah, I thought that was pretty funny too.

It's astounding how any time I look up anything about this game all I get is articles about the beta. "Here's what we know so far..." every single time. Wtf.

You guys are insane. Commas are literal fucking game changers for raiding. Been a problem since literally the first raid in D1.

OT to Warmind BUT

Oh god, the feels....throughout but especially around 2:54

For me Destiny was my first "MMORPG thingy". I know people get mad when you call it that hence the "thingy". I've read people in other threads saying your first MMORPG always brings the feels.

That's why despite enjoying even the much maligned Destiny 2 quite a lot, I know no matter how good some future balance patch or expansion may be, it'll never be that awesome as my early days with D1 again. It physically cant. 4 years in there's this feeling of, seen it all before.

Anyone on PS4 who would be up to play some Comp on occasion? I've been playing mostly with my Clan but we're more a PVE oriented crew and they aren't as frequently willing to play, so I'm accepting that I need to find some more regular folks.

Worst case I'll just drop a post in the Discord on occasion, but I figure it'll be more beneficial to try and find some more regular teammates, if possible. If anyone else is looking to take a shot at Redrix, feel free to give me a shout if you need another.

I had a dream that Bungie surprised people with the upcoming update by opening up more of Titan to patrol and adding more public events to it, as well as bringing over all of Destiny 1's emotes. It worked by linking your account to Bungie.net and it reading what emotes you had in Destiny 1. And anything you missed out on could be purchased with Silver Dust from the Collections when it launches.

... Then I woke up.

My favorite thing is using Coldheart in a match and wrecking people enough that someone else pulls it out before the end of the match.

Quite a while, but it can all be done pretty much over the course of your weekly Milestones. You don't really need to go out of your way to get it done unless you are trying to power-grind through it all.

The bottleneck is Paradox Amplifiers

I have found those the most time consuming to farm and you need a lot of them

First week I'm not going to raid in a long time now, so I'm going to take a stab at getting the Sleeper and Forge quests done finally.

How long does all the Forge stuff take to do? Including getting Sagira's Shell?
It's a struggle. They only drop a maximum of 3 per week, so if you're lucky you can get it done in 4 weeks. Otherwise you might have a week where Vance has nothing and you can't connect mats unless you have a verse in your inventory. In all you'll need 13 advanced cultures, 18 advanced amplifiers, and 9 fossilized blossom. I usually get 1-2 simple versions of cultures and amplifiers when I complete their activities. The amplifiers are the killer for me because I hate Destiny's PvP and strikes take too long to only get 1 amplifier.

You can only do 2-3 Forge weapon "quests" per week (unless this has been changed) and you have to run Crucible matches, strikes, and/or public events to get mats so it can take a good while (a month maybe?).

Damn, I just might not bother. Grinding endlessly with limited playing time just isn't a good match.

Is regular loot received as a result of beating a Nightfall above the soft cap?

You get one "Powerful Reward" drop immediately from killing the Nightfall boss and then the "Powerful Engram" weekly Nightfall Milestone reward from Zavala for each character. So 3 rewards in total, the one from the boss kill is random and can be anything, the engram from Zavala contains a piece of armor/class item and a weapon.

The Prestige Nightfall also rewards you with a Powerful Engram which contains one random piece of armor/class item or weapon.
