Meanwhile, USA Today, the Hill, etc. had no problem.

I mean, I know Bernie is an old man and all, but he's not THAT scary. ;)

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream decided against broadcasting her show Fox News @ Night from the steps outside the Supreme Court on Monday as protestors against President Donald Trump's nomination became "volatile."

"Very few times I've felt threatened while out in the field. The mood here tonight is very volatile. Law enforcement appears to be closing down 1st Street in front of SCOTUS," Bream tweeted on Monday night.

Among the protestors were Planned Parenthood and Senator Bernie Sanders. Detractors of Trump's nominee fear that Kavanaugh will tip the Supreme Court toward the political right and have voiced concern over issues such as abortion and LGBT rights.

They should try being a non-fox news anchor at a Trump rally sometime.

Ah, I remember when the alt-reich were claiming women being chased out of their homes during gamergate was "faked professional victimhood". Meanwhile it turns out that the right wing are experts in the field. They're not actually scared or worried about anything - they are just trying to push their base into committing more terrorist acts based on paranoia because the violence fuels their stranglehold over democracy. That's how fascism works.

They're. Closing. Down. FIRST. STREET???!!!

Holy shit, I'm surprised this woman made it out alive. There must have been tens of people out there at least for them to do something so unprecedented.

If you're scared, go to Church.

You haven't seen shit. Americans haven't even done the bare minimum yet.

They were too afraid to show a bunch of normal, friendly looking people protesting, so they just made shit up.

Remember that time left wing protestors murdered a guy watching a protest? Oh, it was the other way around?

Next time when applying for a protest permit, write down your group name using some combination of "prayer", "freedom", "patriots", "flag", "militia", or "free speech".

Make sure to bring guns. Lots of guns. Lots of flags too. Although confederate and "blue lives matter" flags should outnumber American flags. Minorities, please act like one of the good ones.

Now Fox should feel safe spacey enough.

The rational part of my brain went "Oh, that's actually kind of interesting, that this anchor is worried about reporting on this because FOX will have backlash against them for doing so", not "This reporter is afraid to go to a protest at the capital".

Same. Then I was reminded that the people at Fox lack dignity.

Fox News' narrative is that protesting against the government is an inherently violent act. On at least Sean Hannity's show, someone literally called it domestic terrorism. It is insane the stuff they feed to their viewers.

Reading the Twitter replies are hilarious.
The "unhinged left" "socialists" "#walkaway" "leftist"

I know a lot are bots but it paints a pathetic picture of republicans .
That fox news presenter sees those replies .she knows her base.
