This is just evil- it doesn't benefit anyone.

So does this prove there's no such thing as karma? Because that orange turd should have been in a karmic negative for years now....

This must absolutely be a non-partisan issue. Even in his 30% of braindead followers, at least half would be able to speak up and say "but I like turtles."

Why the fuck would you do this?

If the next Marvel movie had the bad guy politician literally threatening to kill the whales and sea turtles, you'd think it's so cartoonishly unrealistic and emotionally valid that it had no shred of credibility.

And yet, here we are.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while but... Aren't all of these things just going to get re-reversed once a Dem president (or not a dumbass Republican) takes office? I mean, it seems so easy to just end this stuff, it must be just as easy to put it back.

Everything Trump, congress are doing even the EPA, yes things can be reversed but the damage is so significant right now it could take decades to rebuild it.

From what i am seeing all these people don't give a shit, it is about money..

Hmmm. I just have to hope cheeto man doesn't get a 2nd term and these things can just flip back with little to no damage done. It seems like it takes forever for any of these things to actually get going and have an impact that if it's only 2 years between the flip flop we can avoid any real damage. But then again, I'm just hoping for the best.

I wish the states would just build a hundred meter wall around themselves so we should have at least a day or two without their politicians' dumb shit. How flipping broken is the political system that this passed. jfc

B-B-But... I voted for him but don't agree with everything he is doing!
That's fair, but if you care about the innocent creatures, voice your concerns and take action. You can still make a difference, and this is a nonpartisan issue. I'm certain most decent people, regardless of party or who they voted for, don't want to see turtles further endangered. I don't care who you voted for, I just don't wanna see the turtles and thier friends suffer for no good reason.

So sea turtles is where you draw the line in your "Live Free or Die" schtick? Good to know.

Lawful Evil by D&D alignments.

He follows from the same playbook as Hitler, who most would regard as LE. But really, Trump is much too erratic for that alignment.
I've always thought the D&D definition of Lawful Evil is something like... well, the GOP; they follow the laws like we all, but they use them to do evil shits. I've always considered Trump more a Neutral Evil at best.

Granted, I only started D&D on 4th ed, and my friends decided to scrap the alignment system since we felt it would force us to act a certain way that would be detrimental to the continuation of our gaming night: like a lawful good character may have to attack a friend because alignment reasons... So, my understanding of the alignments could be flawed.

As an outsider, does the GOP believe all regulations are bad? Do they go to sleep knowing that the country is a little more "free" with this? I know about Obama being this menace to them, but this seems to go further than that.

Anyone who's supporting Trump will find a way to convince themselves that they not only never liked turtles, but that turtles have actually caused them harm of some fashion.

Of course there isn't. Magic doesn't exist.

But there is such a thing as consequences, and hopefully Trump and all his supporters will suffer them.

Regulations that add to the astounding legacy of a black man are bad and easy as fuck to tear down by pussies who have no real spine or real agenda other than white supremacy and money hoarding.

I'm all in favor of outrage about this, but this story is over a year old at this point.

Maybe update the op to highlight that in some way?

If he wants to go against everything Obama - Obama was President, and he's following in his footsteps, holding the same position, he should resign today, that would show Obama.

Also, going for 2 terms is such an Obama thing - Trump should avoid that.

Tackling the issues that matter! Great job trump. I really wish that Obama or someone Obamassque decided it was time to rally people. And during those rallies, made fun of trump for all of the blatant bullshit he is doing. From this to Russia, to his family splitting... he would hate that more than anything.

Is he really just trying to run up the score on how many regulations he's killed? Why can't he just lie and say he's done a bunch of deregulation like he lies about everything else? Was destroying a bunch of human lives not enough so now he has to go kill turtles?

Gotta stop anything that interferes with short term profits.

Exactly, the environment is an obstacle to the almighty $$$ God in their eyes, shitting on everything and everybody that is in the way is a must.
Who cares about long or even midterm consequences when in the meantime you filled your pockets?

These people don't give a shit, it's as easy as that.
