Infinity War Blu-Ray Officially Announced - August 14th (July 31st Digitally)

The only reason I buy Marvel phyiscal is because I can't get it in 4k on iTunes. Though I do pickup the steelbook for display but I will watch it again.
A better look at the awesome Target exclusive art. I've been getting their releases of MCU films recently because of the art book they've been including. I like that more than the steelbooks, personally.
What's the 3rd disc for in the standard UHD combo? I ask because the steelbook only has 2 discs.
It really is astounding how fast the turnaround is from theater to home video nowadays. It used to be 6-8 months after release but it's now typically about 3.

Disney stopped selling 3D in America a while ago. I think it started with Frozen
Man that's a bummer. The movie had really good 3D use too. Would have loved to re-watch it in 3D
I like owning a physical disc for a movie I love.
I rewatch all the MCU films prior to each Avengers as well.
I watch movies again after I buy them.
And I just moved to an area with basically no high speed internet, so streaming isn't really an option for me.
I'm assuming there will be a region free 3D release you can import from the UK like previous MCU movies.
Nice, so that means I can finally catch it around Christmas on Netflix if they hold to their 3 month after digital schedule.
Can't even imagine the price on the full set of movies.
Ah ok. I know the Last Jedi got a 3D release overseas. I guess I'll either have to double dip with an eventual international 3D release or just wait for a 3D release and buy that one.

I've pretty much stopped buying new MCU movies because I'm waiting for that. Civil War, Ragnarok and now IW are the only phase 3 movies I liked enough to double dip.
I use vudu for this. You get the UHD stream on day one of digital and then the blu ray ships at launch
For fucks sake I wish PS4 Pro had a UHD player. I rarely buy movies for home but this would have been one of them.

If it's anything to go by the trailer is definitely regular black bars. Looks like we'll have to get an international version and rip the 3D out. I anticipate they'll sell the full screen imax version later down the line like maybe with a 2 pack to Avengers 4

No worries. You also get a bonus UV code inside the disc which you can sell on here to offset the costs. :)
Wish they that had more but Day 1 for me easy. Like I'd love to just see all these guys hanging around together. Have a camera follow Hemsworth and Pratt and just let me see what they did while shooting. All these actors legit feel like they'd hang out with eachother.
