He is not even being accused of domestic assault anymore, he is being accused of hiring a hitman
It's hard to keep the plot if you've been given brain trama for a large part of your life. I'm not trying to defend abuse here but you do have to acknowledge that CTE and other brain trama are going to make NFL players more prone to violent behavior than other sports athletes.
this is what it seems like, because it wasnt him directly, i checked his page and he posted something about 4 hours from when the picture dropped. which wouldve been around 8 am est, the woman's friend said they came back from a trip at 6pm est it seems like so this all happened between this time frame.
We definitely need more info, but we can condemn this situation right now and also knowing mccoy's history with women he is not a very good person.
Sorry if the fact that it's not just men bothers you. If it makes you feel any better I have seen abuse in hetro relationships from men and women. The point that it's not just men is easier to make with same sex couples. You can fuck off with your label as well.
This isn't whataboutism. If the common thread in domestic violence cases was men, the relationships involving two women should have a lower rate of domestic abuse compared to others. This is presented as evidence that gender isn't as relevant to the discussion as some here think.

honestly all we can say is something happened, also seems like they may have fallen out sometime between may and now so. yeah def again need more info. even if he didnt directly do the beating, this all looks crazy and seems like he probally couldve had someone else do the dirtywork.
The other claim regarding men being hired, I believe, was posted before McCoy denied the allegations.
It can be but likely someone has seen them together so in this case, I doubt it would be difficult. You can't prove he didn't....but if he has been around them, there is likely proof.
If it's confirmed that he did that, dude needs to be banned from the league. NFL can't keep sheltering these guys....

His current predicament doesn't do ANYTHING to validate your claim.
I forgot about Joe Mixon. There was also that dude at Florida or FSU (I can't remember) who straight rocked a girl after she slapped him. I can't remember his name.
I feel like this should be a situation that should be easy to get more evidence of.

Fair enough, didn't mean to say you were defending the behaviour and you're right about the trauma affecting their mental decision making.
I don't know how you can look at those posts and think they aren't eluding to the problem being only with men. I countered them with proof that It's not just men.

If it is true that McCoy had a "crew" go beat this girl up, it wouldn't be the first time he has been accused of turning his muscle on a woman.

This is just my opinion, but the Joe Mixon incident is different than Ray Rice or this alleged McCoy incident.
Rice and McCoy cases are with their girlfriends/wives/relationships.
In the Mixon case it was a totally random person at a store/restaurant. In other words, like a random bar fight. It just so happened the other participant was female. Which begs the tangential question -- does it matter what sex the other person is in a random bar fight? What if it was a guy in the Mixon incident? I'm not sure why sex matters in a random fight.
But in any case, Mixon was not domestic/spousal relationship abuse.
Yeah, my gut feeling on this was that he was guilty (and i'm a person more inclined to wait it out after the duke scandal); but I'm pretty sure he's guilty and he's done.
You missed my point. I didn't mean we should already have that information. I was saying that this situation has a lot of details floating around that should be able to sort out the situation. It was a general comment.

I wouldn't say it's an 'excuse', but it is probably contributing factor to why but he still did it.
It doesn't let him off, give him sympathy or anything. He still brutally beat his partner and should face the full repercussion of the law. He's culpable for his actions.
However we need to talk about CTE in these instances, to try and prevent it in future.
