Mississipi State having the second best class in the SEC so far, even in late June, seems weird.

Where you seeing that? ESPN has A&M, LSU and UGA over them right now.

I don't know, I mean I could see them getting better. Mullen was able to do okay but he failed to deliver completely, and then recruits lost interest when he proved he couldn't beat Alabama, Auburn or LSU consistently.

Moorhead has been around a while and has a proven record, so I could see players opting to play for him.

There is still a lot of ground to cover. I do think it funny that Kirby sends a one year shot of recruiting across Nick's face, and all of a sudden Saban is like, Aw hell no, you sure you want this?

I feel like Bama is the most focused they've been recruiting in almost 10 years, and it seems like a good class.

Also, USCe has the top ranked class in the SEC-E, but the 7th ranked class in the SEC. Lol what a balanced conference

2019 is looking about as elite as our '17 unit looked in the second half of the title game.

Rivals has Clanga second only to us in the conference last I checked.

And yeah, as much as I love Kirby, him apparently leading the charge on "Nick ain't gonna be there much longer" in recruiting is funny as hell given the results so far.

Hell, Nick is more likely to still be at Bama in 5 years than most any other coach in the conference, I'd bet. He just isn't showing any signs of slowing down. He's built a machine.

Alright this is crazy. How many ACLs has this been the last couple years? How long till Nick brings in a specialist for acls?
Unless there's a rule against it, Saban will probably hire a few hundred GA's to push all the players around in their beds. Bed ridden except for practices and games.

Honestly, there's not really a way to avoid this. Don't think there's treatment to strengthen/harden knee ligaments. If there was, I'm sure the NCAA would ban it (HGH-type stuff), and who knows, it might make it harder to move.

Wonder if there's some genetic predisposition to how sturdy a person's knee ligaments are. I don't know if Terrell has had a tear in his past (wasn't his injury last year a bicep or pectoral tear?)

He had a bicep injury last year, which is how he stayed in great enough shape to contribute heavily in the playoffs. Same with other dude who was hurt, whose name is escaping me.

Sucks, man. This was supposed to be his year.

EDIT:

Somebody on a Tech message board noticed that there is only one player (across ALL teams) listed on the Big XII Media Days schedule that has his own solo time slot -

Dakota Allen is our linebacker that was kicked out of school after his true freshman year (along with two other players) for theft, ended up at East Mississippi Community College for Last Chance U Season 2, then re-signed with us and is now arguably our best player.

No, he won't be first to break the curse, IMO.
Not by a long shot. For sure. He and Pruitt are the only lnes who get regular shots though so %s and odds wtc.

Kirby has the best shot right now, but after that field is wide open. Field has gotten a lot bigger too.

But again it comes down to # of opportunities and talent. I could see Mario getting an Oregon team tot he playoffs maybe and having a shot, or Lane getting a shot too wih another program.

Who knows. I think it is bound to happen, and I think it is more than likely to happen in an SEC title game than not.

If Jimbo loses to Bama 4 seasons in a row, he's gone. So the question becomes, can Bama/Saban go 4-0 against aggy over the next 4 years.

They'll lose one game because of a QB playing the game of his life and it'll give Aggy hope until the next meeting where Bama beats A&M like they are breaking a mule.
