Preordering helps us in that the more preorder sales we rack up, the more likely Nintendo is to promote the game themselves (which leads to even more sales).
Great, done.

I cant find the game on the Dutch Nintendo site. Is it coming to Europe or do I have to buy some US eshop monies?

Yeah, I'd like to do an AMA around launch. Although, you can already see what the icon looks here:

Wasn't this the game where the devs were talking about how they didn't recoup their investment due to low sales? If so, hopefully the magic of the eShop gets them back in the black!
Sorry for the OT, but are you guys working on a new game right now? I recall you saying something about a game like CSH but with less characters to improve the writing.Sales weren't great, but I think after all the versions have come out, we'll be doing okay.

We're starting work on a new game called Rx Machina. It's a comedy where you work at a hospital that uses mechs that miniaturize and enter patients to fight diseases. Some gameplay similarities to CSH.
That sounds awesome! Could be a cool therapy/coping mechanism for kids fighting awful stuff in the hospital, too. We're starting work on a new game called Rx Machina. I think the big sticking point for a lot of people is the tone & pacing. Although I spent a lot of time analyzing Chrono Trigger to see how it handled character movement & combat positioning & Phantasy Star was a big influence for plot & setting, I gotta admit, when I think nostalgic JRPGs, I think the Lunar games and I tried to emulate their mix of serious & silly. The result is a game that's more of a cheesy celebration of over-the-top sci-fi/fantasy pulp than the serious game that some people wanted. I feel the Freedom Festival scenario is a good litmus test (and I'll be vague here to avoid spoiling it for people who haven't played the game yet) - it starts out as an homage to stuff like Chrono Trigger & Xenogears, then events start happening & it just gets more and more over-the-top ridiculous. And some people see all this and think "Awesome!" and others think "Stupid!" And both responses are valid because different people want different things from their games.
That's what LRG said. They said they've got a lot on their plate scheduled for the rest of the year & they don't want the physical version of CSH to get overshadowed.
Okay, that's good news. Thanks!Hey, I'm the developer of the Switch port at LRG and also handling the storefront for it - it is 100% coming for Europe and Aus+NZ, the store page hasn't been approved by NOE yet but we're hoping it'll be soon this week. That one will still have the same 10% preorder discount.
Kept my word and pre-ordered as soon as it went up... Not playing on ps4 and the late vita release was hard!!If you want to check out how well the game performs on Switch (very well - 60 fps + quick load times), Limited Run Games has put up the stream they did yesterday of the start of the game played on Switch.

What are your current sales expectations / projections for the Switch port?
How are preorders/preloads looking? Good? Bad? Don't know?No expectations, but I'd be very pleased if we managed to reach 10k by the end of September. If we managed to break 100k by the end of the Switch's life, I'd be crazy ecstatic.
