I would be okay with this if all the revenue went to something good involving these boys and the rescue teams.
It's going to focus on the two British people that were closely involved with the rescue mission.

These people have a questionable moral compass.
It should also be up to the kids and their parents with every penny going to them.
Read the OP, its pure flix. The gods not dead assholes. Not exactly Hollywood. The hollywood vultures have at least some tact These people, not so much
Margot Robbie is the world's foremost reporter who has a troubled romantic history with the best diver the world has ever known, who quit diving in tragic circumstances a decade ago. Can she convince him to face him demons and return to diving? For the sake of the children? For her?How are they going to film a movie with no female protagonists? Are they going to insert Naomi Watts as a female diver?
Hollywood in Trump's America, ladies and gentlemen. They can cast of the guise of being empathetic and caring for humanitarian causes now. Cynical cash grabs all around now.
To be fair that's actually not that low. I mean even on spotify 0.006 cents per listen can get you rich only with 10.000.000 playsDon't worry everyone, the people involved will receive a stunning 0.025% royalty of all the money they make.
But for how long? She don't care, she getting that "fuck you i'm playing Rosa Parks eventually" money
Pure Flix is an American independent Christian film and television studio, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. The company produces, distributes, acquires and markets Christian and family-friendly films
came to see someone post this, was not disappointed lol
They know that all these kids and the coach are more than likely Buddhists, right?
I'd assume Thailand will just make their own version. Not sure why Hollywood needs to be involved.
The movie will be a origin story for the two British divers. We'll see there child hood, how they became friends, and their journey to become legends in the world of deep sea diving.
The last 30 minutes of the movie will finally focus on there journey to Thailand to rescue the 12 missing boys and their coach. A slight change to the ending will have them refusing to go home and guiding each boy out personally instead of the Thai government.
AbsolutelyFor fucks sake, does every tragedy have to be capitalized for entertainment?
Fucking vultures, at least the families should be fairly paid. Where's this Scarjo plays everyone meme came from though?
Damn, they wasted no time.
You know that's coming. Gotta put a famous white actor in there to make the execs happy.
Oh right, that's a big blunder on the GitS, didn't know about the transgender one though. She started in the live action Ghost in the Shell movie as Kusanagi Motoko, and recently was cast (or highly considered? I forget which) to play a transgender character.
The Elon Musk role gets front and center casting. That character becomes the true brains of the operation, has to spend most of the film trying to convince dummy Thai officials that his plan is the only way to get the boys out alive, and after a rescuer dies all parties involved reluctantly give in to the foreign American who proves that they should have listened to him in the first place.I am so shocked
Now how can we shove white people at the forefront? Does it have to be in Thailand? Okay, what if it was their coach was a white guy who went to Thailand to "get away"?
What is that? That guy that helped coordinate the rescue was white?! PERFECT!
They know that all these kids and the coach are more than likely Buddhists, right?
What does it mean to "acquire rights"? Who is to stop them from fictionalizing the story about a random team in the states?
