My family and I really like the entire soundtrack. We've been listening to it on Spotify at least 3 or 4 times a week for several months now.

Took way too long for this to be mentioned.

The "I Am Moana" scene is definitely up there with the best though and the best scene in that movie.

We Know the Way>>>>

Man, Moana is amazing.

It's just a score, not an actual track with vocals or anything, but this scene has always sent a shiver down my spine.

"Black Tears" playing as the Guardians come together just to fucking survive before realizing they can channel the stone to beat Ronan is epic, as is Peter seeing his mother when Gamora reaches out to him.

Call Me by Your Name, both Sufjan Steven songs. The ending song gets all the love but I like the one we get in the middle just as much, if not more.

I am absolutely obsessed with Mystery of Love.

The ending of Good Time with Oneohtrix Point Never's/Iggy Pop original song for the film "The Pure and the Damned" playing as the finale really solidifies the themes of wanting the good life even when you're no angel. Made me bawl my eyes out. Best crime film in a long while since Heat, really captures the realistic socioeconomic tragedy of it all. Best film of 2017.

I submit the ending of Arrival. The gorgeous culmination of everything that happened in the film and what certain previous scenes actually meant, set to On the Nature of Daylight by Max Richter. Chills.

Music only to avoid spoilers.

Moana is simply one the best ever CG animated movies to date. I came watching it in cinema with zero expectations and they were shattered beyond belief, and I even listened to some songs from the OST for few months after that which I've NEVER done before. You can replace the song in OP with almost every other scene with a song and it'll be a correct answer still.
If this movie doesn't get a sequel then fuck everyone.

Edger Wright particularly enjoys synchronising action to music innit.
I re-watched Spaced recently and a lot of it was already in place back then.

In You're Welcome, when it cuts to the flat 2D imagery with Maoi and Moana I get chills every time. Somehow gets at that Tiki Room experience in a childlike way that I just haven't been able to feel until I saw that.

As someone who can't stand musicals, and isn't exactly the biggest fan of Disney movies...I fucking love Moana. Just everything about it is perfect. Yes, I even love every damn song in the film. It even has a Mad Max: Fury Wave section that took me completely by surprise.

We Know the Way is my favourite part. It does such a good job showing the joy of sailing and discovery.

I'm not even going to attempt to one up Moana because it's almost perfect.

I do however love the opening to Lord of War, it's catchy, it's a social commentary and it's just so hypnotic to watch.

A.k.a share other scenes where there's a perfect blend of music and visual content.

I need to share this scene because it's an incredible audiovisual piece. Everything in the movie leads to this powerful scene, full of meaning and emotion.

(spoilers for Disney's Moana)

Thoughts?

This ALWAYS gives me chills. It's perfectly done.

Totally valid opinion. That scene and the reprise of the song still give me goosebumps.

The songs of Hunchback are absolutely amazing and top notch Disney songs and yet Alan Menken's score and chorus arrangements manage to outshine them. And then he somehow made this song even BETTER in the musical. I want to see this live so badly.

Moana is so good. I've watched it for the first time when putting something on for my daughter. It's my go to now for getting her to just sit down and watch something (plus points for having a character with the same skin color).

It really blew me away. I was expecting a good movie but not this good. The songs in particular are wonderful, and there's just a lot of great moments. The You're Welcome song has got to be up there, alongside the song by the treasure crab.
