With Broly being reworkes as a new character for Dragon Ball's canon I thought this might be fun to do

Basically try to write a concept you like from the very vast and very stupid Dragon Ball EU. Heroes,Movies, GT, Games, Cards, Mangas anything that's officially branded but not canon

My pick is, Evil Shenron

No, not the shitty individual ones. This one

latest

My idea to work with them is that he's a Dragon God from a different universe, sick of the Dragon kin being used for selfish wishes. He would act through smaller villains to gather all known sets of Dragon Balls to try and turn Shenron,Porunga and Super Shenron against mortals.

The arc would revolve around simultanous battles on different fronts across the multiverse top prevent Dark Shenron powerful underlings away from each Dragon Ball

Like imagine Piccolo and Hit fighting on Namek to protect the 2 Star Namekian Dragon Ball while Goku and Caulifla defend the 3 Star Super Dragon Ball on Universe 6. Kale and Jiren on Universe 11, 17 and Gotenks...all kind of crazy team ups

They all eventually fail and each Dragon will face the temptation of choosing freedom and turning against those who use them as tools despite their immense power.

That's some fucking Dragon Ball I'd watch and it would give lots of character to the Dragon Ball's Dragons themselves.

So yeah let's get some fanfiction going

Towa and Mira, with improved designs and with much more tie in to the demon realm with an entire arc in super taking place their.

I would remove be the time travel aspect

This was going to be my ultimate choice.

Milking Dragon Ball Heroes and Xenoverse for all its worth in the actual anime would be spectacular. Bring back Trunks too if you need to, just no "time travel to the Raditz fight" kind of nonsense.

The driving license episode. Oolong, sick of everybody flying, gathers the dragon balls and wishes that nobody can fly anymore. The Z Warriors, worried about being able to reach future threats in a timely manner, must all obtain drivers licenses and thus begins the greatest arc in Dragonball history.

Edit: Also Lunch is the driving instructor but mysteriously just isn't seen again after being introduced as such.

I'd find a way to get Pikkon in my new rewrite somehow. His fire moves looked like they actually hurt.

(...I'd get rid of those ridiculous lips though...)

The Stussining
Cooler though I'd play around with him a bit to make him fit in better into the DBS world. he would be the cocky older brother but stupidly arrogant and also just a bit stupid. He'd been gone from his family for so long because he was trying to prove to them how much "better" he was. That when he comes back he finds out that his dad is dead and so is his brother. Unable to admit that his own family could be killed (his though process would be if they are related to me the "mighty" Cooler then they can't possibly be too weak to die). He will pretend that they didn't die but merely disguised themselves for some strange reason and are roleplaying as two Saiyans on earth.

We would watch Cooler follow them trying to work out which was which while watching him commentate on the menial shit they do. "Oh man brother the last time somebody cut in front of you in line it lead to that Joke Strap incident".
"Father didn't you always tell me that if you were ever in the room with more than 4 people you would have to kill one of them as it would be a threat to your authority".
And other asinine shit.

This would all eventually culminate with him realizing that the two Saiyans can't possibly be his family (he'd have watched them do some actual nice deeds) and fight them. The fight would either be really serious or a funny stomp on Cooler since he was too arrogant to train.

Dolph lundgren + full penetration in any seeies would jumpstarg any popularity. My other arc answer would be to show goku face a humiliating defeat, trains back up then loses so bad the bext time he diss. Krillin runs in and sees his friends lifeless body. He then becomes so enraged he begins to power up. Of course if the villain beats goku, he easily kills krillin too tf this isn't little league. Then he begins a rampage that lasts a decade and future trunks cones in and takes an L too. Basically I hate the z fighters. All I wanted was a show centered around done bald ripped huge dude with a sick mustsche

I don't really have anything to contribute to this thread but can anybody explain to me the canon status of the tuffles?

What's even the difference between Gogeta and Vegetto? From what I remember, they just pulled Gogeta for the films to have their own special form bullshit.

The Time Patrol from Xenoverse is literally the only way to make sense of there being 2 Trunks in the same timeline in Super's canon. The ending of the Goku Black arc was so hurried and shit that it STILL irritates me.

I believe Dragon Ball has already given it all long ago. That said:

Fuse Piccolo with both his father/previous incarnation (a-la-Supersonic Warriors) and Lord Slug to somehow return him to combat relevance.

Time for a fanfictiony wall of text!

I would have this happen after quite a few more arcs of Dragon Ball, after we've done a decent amount of stuff with other universes and are past the end of Z. At this point, in their highest forms (UI?), Goku and Vegeta are comparable to many of the Gods of Destruction, but still a little bit below Beerus in power and a good bit below Whis.

Start on Kaioshin's world, Elder Kai is is in complete shock. Shin, concerned, asks what's wrong and Elder Kai explains, he suddenly felt a power he hasn't in a millions of years, the king of the Demon Realm and his generals. This king was an incredibly powerful man who threatened the entire universe, if he was left to his own devices he would have turned all of universes into his domain. The most terrifying thing is that not even the Gods of Destruction or Zeno were able to deal with him, as not only is he ridiculously powerful, but he and his army were totally immune to Hakai energy and Zeno's deletion powers due to the odd structure of their bodies. After a meeting with Zeno and the Great Priest discussing what could be done, the gods and angels of every Universe banded together to seal away the king and his army, but now for unknown reasons that seal has been broken. Shin, confused, asks what he means, wasn't Dabura the king of the Demon Realm? Elder Kai explains that Dabura was but a lowly demon who took the throne after the true king had been sealed away, however the king was no ordinary demon, he was a Makaioshin, a Kaioshin corrupted by concentrated evil stripped from souls that were purified in Hell.
The name of this Makaioshin?
King Janemba.

This involves a decent amount of rewriting Toriyama's previously established Demon Realm and Makaioshin lore, but that was only in a guidebook so I don't think any harm is done by redoing that.

I'd have him be a slightly redesigned version of what we saw in Fusion Reborn, and character wise he'd be very different, while he would still have some good ol' fashion evil laughs, he would also be highly intelligent and of course be capable of speech. Janemba would have plenty of new abilities, but he would also still have the abilities he had in his film. His generals would be also be Makaioshin and would follow a similar design philosophy to him, while still each being distinct. On top of having a few generals he would also have a horde of demon warriors, giving the entire cast things to fight. As for him making the multiverse his domain, I would have that designed after how Janemba transformed Hell in his film, so planets are slowly being transformed into landscapes like that, though maybe with a bit more diversity. Janemba and his army being immune to Hakai energy and deletion would actually tie directly into the awesome teleportation effect he had in the original film, so when someone tries to delete one of them they just turn into cubes and reform.

With Janemba being a multiversal threat we would also see characters from other universes and many minor fighters from the ToP could even have cameos, being their first appearances since that arc. While ultimately various fighters would be able to defeat his generals, the final fight against Janemba himself would require a large amount of team work, maybe even a multiversal Spirit Bomb that has to be charged and launched by multiple people at once.
I think the biggest draw would be that all of the universes would have to work together in this arc and it would mark the first time we would see some characters, like the Great Priest, fight. Teamwork, camaraderie and putting your differences aside for the greater good would be the major themes of the arc, and while it would be a very serious plot it would still have plenty of comedy and light hearted moments.

This would be a long arc, potentially even longer than the Universe Survival Arc, and would be the last arc before the Dragon Ball Universe expands again, maybe with something like other dimensions. I'd also say they'd have to scale things back with the next few villains, keeping Janemba the strongest enemy for a few arcs so they can slow the escalation of things for a bit, giving Goku and co time to actually get much stronger before fighting someone that crazy strong again.

As for how the seal that trapped Janemba and his army was broken, I would say either it would tie directly into a previous arc or would simply be a demon that has been working towards this for a long time.

Canon, but the only one we've seen is from another universe.
We also aren't sure who it was, we just know that they were on Universe 2's team in the ToP.
It's likely one of these two, depending on what they decided is the canon appearance of the race.
