It basically wrapped up the story arcs of every "pairing" & for the final chapter, it went back to wrap up the story of the characters who were introduced in the very first chapter. It kind of has that "it stops" feeling, but at the same time, it still feels like closure & I guess it ended when it needed to instead of figuring out ways to stretch it out or make up new characters.
My hope is that this means we could get another season of the anime considering the 12 minute structure actually worked great & it was so much more interesting have multiple stories involving numerous characters, some of which actually were in a relationship so it was more of just them learning how to handle each other, instead of the usual "will they, won't they" of one main character who will obviously get with X girl but throw in Y girl & Z girl because oh man maybe he WON'T choose X girl but come on, it's so damn obvious!
We seem to amazingly live in a time where we're getting anime/manga that's about the actual relationship itself instead of just having the two characters getting together being the end, which is just so much more interesting. Wotakoi is another great example in that our two characters flat-out get together at the end of the first episode, so the rest of the series is just them learning how to handle being in that sort of relationship, not to mention they're working adults which is MUCH more relatable to me compared to using high school kids for the 427th time, especially when said adults are actually knowledgeable.
