This is probably one of the better offers we will see for the system this side of Black Friday,
Good games, but a shame this is considered a deal just because Nintendo doesn't really discount their games.
The start of Nintendo offering some deals and bundles? I kind of hope so as I could use a second Switch in my household.
I don't see this as that big of a deal, personally. It's basically just keeping the system price the same, and discounting the game to half price.
eBay's occasional "15% or 20% off anything" deals seem like a better bet, and those are happening with regularity. Oftentimes, you don't have to pay tax either, which makes the deal even better.

Even before sales tax, this isn't much of a deal. Better to wait for the next 15-20% eBay coupon.
Not a bad deal if someone was already planning on getting a switch and one of those games. I don't expect to see deep discounts anytime soon.

That's better than what they normally do where they advertise "bundles" which are just the system + game packaged together for no discount. At least with this you save $30.
They don't need to discount games. Quality doesn't need discounts to sell.
Or you could have gotten one through Google Express for ~ $220.
But those aren't options you'll find in a b&m shop. This is a good deal for impulse purchasers

I actually need another Switch but this isn't really a good enough deal since we already own 3 of those games. Waiting for the $250 price cut/sale price before I jump.
I didn't say it does, but there are several quality games with game of the year nominations from other companies that aren't full price a year after they released.

I'd like another Switch but I'm one of the crazies expecting a hardware revision of some sort of benefit soonish.
I don't expect crazy deals for a Switch on BF, personally. And I would definitely get a new Switch when you decide to buy and put a tempered glass protector on.
This deal isn't amazing but it's fine, especially since you get a great game. Enjoy the system, whenever you grab it.

I hear ya. I bought an X on an urge. You're right / the longer you wait, the better. There will be more games that might interest you, at least. I think a price drop might happen in 2019 if Smash and Let's Go don't move the needle as much as Nintendo wanted.
Not much incentive to cut the price when you have evergreens charting every week/month.
I think I remember reading here that there is a rumored revision coming soon and it even has a code name already. Think it starts with an M.
