Give me that pre order link to get a Ridley and Wolf amiibo. Not sure I need the inkling amiibo since I have the original splatoon 3 pack.

Yep I'm buying these 3 and the others I've missed - time to finally complete my Smash collection and be done with amiibos.
I'd say definitely. Maybe not as much of a craze nowdays but I'm definitely still interested personally.

Yeah if I want them. Probably will buy these 3 but I got plenty splatoon amiibo and inkling girl will be 2 now so idk

They will not. At least not for now. They're focusing on making new ones for the new characters.
I think the fact that it's the same design executed 100x better is pretty cool. That original amiibo looks so crummy by comparison. There are also tons of other Splatoon amiibo with different styles, so I think it's OK to repeat just one.
I don't think that was ever the intention. The box art will most likely be updated to reflect compatibility with the new game, but I believe the only new figures will be those that didn't exist prior to now.
You're right that it looks better, but they could've coupled it with different clothing, at least. They even have 4 different selectable designs for IG in Ultimate :(

Snake hasn't been announced but its coming. Cloud exists in his 2 outfits.
New releases consistently continue to sell out. Breath of the Wild amiibo, Metroid amiibo from last September, Mario Odyssey amiibo from last fall, Detective PIkachu from a couple months ago, the Splatoon 2 amiibo coming out this Friday will sell out quickly as well.

I wonder what this means about a boy inkling smash amiibo. Is he getting the same limited stock treatment like the other alt amiibos or is he gonna be readily available.
Best Buy is like the only store that will occasionally get restocks. Every other store has pretty much given up.
Not a fan of them being $3 extra, but if you think I won't bite on Ridley... That's fair.
