Hmm...Best Buy charges credit cards for preorders at the time of ordering, not shipping, right? I have GCU, but I might just wait for the Amazon preorders to go up so that I won't have to pay for them until release.
If I remember right, they put a temporary hold for authorizing preorders that gets removed after a week.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is a new sculpt for the Squiddo.

That's a thought. How will Charizard work. Is he gonna be an equivalent of something like a Pokemon Trainer?
Based on what we can expect to see, I'll probably pick up Squirtle, with a consideration for Daisy, Young Link, and the Ice Climbers.
But the real dream is getting some new editions of characters with more radical redesigns. OoT Ganondorf and ALTTP Zelda, please.

I don't think they'll be doing BotW Link or ALBW Zelda. Those aren't new/returning characters that were not in Smash 4.
Weird, I preordered the Pokémon Let's Go bundle on June 21 and the charge posted to my credit card account 3 days later...it's probably there to stay, which is why I assumed that's how Best Buy deals with pre-orders.
Yeah, I'm not totally sure. I had the Pearl/Marina amiibos and Captain Toad preordered and there was definitely a charge, but it vanished after a few days. I only saw the charges again for them today after they shipped.
My Let's Go bundle is missing now, but it was definitely there before.
I want a reprint of the Wii Fit Trainer so badly. I passed on so many opportunities to pick one up when amiibo first hit the scene and I've been kicking myself ever since. T_T

Not a fan of the sudden $15.99 markup, but that Wolf amiibo's sculpt is incredible. It's amazing how these things keep looking better.
No. That's not what the new amiibo are for.
They are doing amiibo for the characters that were missing from Smash 4 (Snake, Wolf) and new characters (Ridley).
It's unlikely that they do new amiibo for Link because he got a new costume. They still consider him the same character.

Might make Ridley my first Amiibo. Hopefully the final ones look as good as the one in the video.
My advise to you is don't start. Forget about amiibos.

For what it's worth it will probably be my only one for a while. The only other one I was interested in was Captain Falcon, but the pose/plastic junk looks awful so I didn't want it.
