Isn't this what most people were mad at Microsoft about?

I'm wondering if this actually the start of it been patched in as a piracy counter measure? Seems a bit late in the generation though :\

That's the message you get if you are playing on a different account than the one that purchased the game and have disconnected from online or if you are playing using that account that purchased the game in a PS4 that isn't set to your primary console and loses internet connection.

If you are using the same account that has the rights to the game on your own primary honest sytem you will never see this message and nor will there be any check in. MS had a mandatory check in for every console and every account every 24 hours. If you can't see the massive difference there I don't know what to tell ya.

Why is this console-wars thread based on a faulty premise even still open?
