You know for a bit I almost forgot how much of an arse Kaiou was, but this chapter sure reminded me. I don't recall much depth to Kaidou in his previous appearances, so I'm curious to see how Oda puts everything into context with regards to his characterization.

She's not that old, so it had to be recently. Only it couldn't have been in the last three years since we know he was either dead or chasing Teach during that time frame. Given she's 8 there's not a lot of room for them to have met and for him to have made that promise.
Unless, of course, that promise was passed down to her from a time she either doesn't remember or wasn't around for.

I'm really not understanding your complaints. Zou was not some female being oppressed. WCI wasn't some female being oppressed. Dressrosa was, but Kyros also explained the oppression from his point of view which linked up with Rebecca. Punk Hazard wasn't. Should we count Fishman Island considering it wasn't like Rebecca or Tama at all? Jinbei explained the whole situation to them and Shirahoshi wasn't oppressed by Hody like Tama or Rebecca.

Might as well try and force the kid trait because that trait was present in Punk Hazard and now Wano. In other words, a female being oppressed and bringing the SH into the fold to start off the arc happened the same amount of times as a kid being oppressed. Two times.

Hawkins going rogue or at least not really caring about keeping an image with regards to his alliance with Kaido isn't too surprising, but it's cool nonetheless. He's one of the most interesting Supernova to me, so it's cool seeing him getting some screentime. Especially seeing how Bege went from being "eh" to basically the best out of the bunch so far imo.
I'm assuming we might get more Luffy shanenigans and maybe a glimpse to Sanji's group, but I doubt it, as the next time they meet up is probably going to be quite big, especially with Zoro's group (the chapter this side appeared in was to set up their general roles in the Wano infiltration so far: we surely will get the outcome (or continuation) of those premises, especially Robin and Zoro's).
I hope we have a whole group reunion and not a staggered one.

Can't wait to see it coloured (not really in the anime as I mostly dislike the look of it -without even having into account its animation-, but rather in the manga).

Yeah, I'll second these comments about Luffy looking far more swag about fodderizing folks than usual. It's a nice touch, our boy is growing up but still Luffy at the end of the day.

Turns out the client was available to be downloaded only one day and now I can't anymore even though the beta itself doesn't start until Sunday. So I will not be able to try out the game with you, unless they put it back up but that's unlikely.

when this series has been going so long it's easy to forget that it's only taken place over a period of like 2.5 years
Holy fuck did that dude just contemplate selling a little girl on the red light district? Jesus Oda that's the darkest line in One Piece so far. Sure there has been slavery before but as far as I could tell there was never any implication that slaves were used for sex in the world of OP, let alone children.
