No luck, seems like they were gone by the time I got out of work.
Too many licenses to sort there. It also doesn't follow a theme unlike the JUMP Famicom.A NES Classic like this Famicom would be interesting. A list of games I think would be cool are: Kung Fu, M.U.S.C.L.E. Tag Team Match, Fist of the North Star, Dragon Warrior, Dragon Power, TMNT 1-3, TMNT Tournament Fighters, Batman, Goonies, Goonies 2, Yo! Noid, Duck Tales, The Little Mermaid, Darkwing Duck, Fester's Quest, Town & Country Surf Designs, Popeye, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Duck Tales 2, Rescue Rangers, Rescue Rangers 2, Little Nemo: The Dream Master
The first five games I listed may be odd choices but I think they work and are a nice nod to the Famicom version of this thing. The rest are just licensed games I would want on this thing.
Fake news.No luck, seems like they were gone by the time I got out of work.
You go to their website or the machine in the store and order it, then pick it up when delivered. Same as 7-11.
Is it just me or is the colour of this Famicom Mini slightly different? It looks like they've given it the infamous yellow tint, whereas the original is more of a pure white colour.
I just went third-party on Amazon JP. Wasn't sure what else to do, and +$30 or so isn't bad for something that'll be a chore to get.
I had a NES as a kid and i have literally never heard of any of these games.
Is this another NES classic??
Did you order one?
I sure did. I wanna see what's going on with the custom game selection, in terms of the emulator and any different wrapper stuff. Plus, I never bit on the FaMini, so why not go gold?
One of these days GCCX will run out of Famicoms and they will have to use an FC mini. Imagine Arino playing all that trash :D
Some errata: The existing Famicom Mini already includes (4?) Famicom Disk System games, as does the NES Classic if you toss an FDS game on it.
Also, generally Shonen Jump is referred to as Jump for short, probably because Shonen simply means "Young boy" and reads weird.
Dragon Quest had a popular manga adaptation that ran in Shonen Jump, which is probably another, or the primary, reason it's included.
Thanks for the impressions!
