I believe Strzok, At the end of the day there is no way any of those texts really would allow for them to do anything all the stuff still needs to be vetted and still put into court etc.
If you don't believe Strzok, every single person, in every single level of law enforcement needs to be questioned regarding their political stance as this would indicate that no one can have an opinion and be able to do their job without bias

Well, this is the biggest GoP backfire I ever saw.

They have no plan whatsoever. They keep expecting career FBI agents to screw up somehow in a live hearing, and when they don't, the GoP retreat to grandstanding with preachy generalizations.

exactly. because then it totally crumbles that people will do the right thing despite their feelings politically that may contrast the right thing.

It's like they keep expecting these intelligent people to be as inept as they are and then when confronted with the fact they are outmatched they fucking flail about.

The Inspector General already came to that conclusion. The GoP House just can't accept it. That's why we have this shitshow of Republican denial and projection going on right now.

They can't accept that fact that their glorious leader is a fucking criminal and there is nothing they can do to absolve him of his crimes or make him look good. And since he's their leader, the entirety of the GOP looks like a bunch of shitheels.

Yeah, Strzok is coming across as coherent, rational and pointedly angry with the GOP's fuckery which he's been a firsthand witness to. And them attempting to paint everything as partisan, picking and choosing what they want as explicitly partisan, is backfiring spectacularly.

We need to bring in the entire an Anti-Clinton NY division that threatened to leak the stuff during the election. If this is what the GOP want to go down.

And that was infinitley worse then some political texts.

That was threatening inferference.

One of the buried ledes about this that makes my heart sink is how the current "leadership" of Congress, spends its time doing shit like this, bailing out, yet generally abdicates being a decisive force for good or even base competancy.

Not only is that bad, but it reinforces that that's what Congress is: dysfunction. Can't even do kangaroo courts right. Can't even remember the rules of committees they run when they NEED to. Can't allow themselves to enforce the respect of the chamber cuz it'll make members look bad so SOME can lie and ignore subpoenas even if that diminishes the body politics' power henceforth.

Numb. Just...numb.

Waiting for the Lieu to speak.

The ethering will truly begin then.

Anyone who seriously belies a couple of text to a lover is the same as a grand conspiracy is either an idiot or a Trump crony (persumably both).

They're afraid to subpoena Bannon because the House Dems would fucking crucify him with ACTUAL EVIDENCE OF CRIMES COMMITTED BY THE WHITE HOUSE.

Christ, they got him on recorded tape SAYING the Trump tower meeting was illegal.

It is still fucking amazing to me that the FBI, in the past, did shit like attempt to destroy Martin Luther King Jr. through revealing stuff like his affair and other methods.

But here we are, the GOP is actively attempting to destroy these institutions in broad daylight and nothing. Where the hell are those methods now for people that actually deserve it?

I love the way everyone knows a number of Trump supporters are smelly hillbillies, but everyone needs to act like that's not the case.

But see, Goodlatte is hitting on everything Trump's supporters actually care about.

This isn't about the truth to them. It isn't about national security. It's about taking the high and mighty Dems down a peg because we think they're hillbillies!

When it comes to their side, they don't care.

The GOP has been an armed partisan force in this country for decades.

Yup. There is no way that one man can just fabricated evidence and even if there was bias, in no way they still wouldn't be able to do their job and be fair. I wish these congressmen would also like their texts subpoenaed and see what biases they have. Because this whole thing is pretty stupid honestly.

Anyone who seriously belies a couple of text to a lover is the same as a grand conspiracy is either an idiot or a Trump crony (persumably both).

Right. Like everyone is biased and anyone that claims they are no is a damn liar. However if you have integrity you are aware of your biases and don't allow them to override what's right.
