Tom Holland being cast as drake is meaningless. Anything can change until filming actually takes place, and even then people can be swapped.

I mean at one point marky Mark was cast as Drake.
also it can be Drake for a flashback or an intro like how the games have done it. same character but 2 actors isnt out of the question unless explicitly stated

Chadwick Boseman as Nathan Drake, Idris Elba as Sully and Lupita as Elena.

Direced by Ryan Coogler.

I'm not feeling Tom Holland or Nathan Fillion for the roles.

Dylan O'Brien for Drake and Bryan Cranston for Sully. Search heart and feel the sting of truth.

Play old man Drake... would be interesting, but get in good shape for it. He has the charisma, and if marketed smartly, with at least one other big casting draw (bigger than him tbh) it might bring people to the theater. National Treasure but with exotic locales, some good gunplay and a lighter, more charismatic lead/tone than Cage.

Maaaaaaaaybe that would work.

Do not mention videogames in the marketing/pitch.

Maybe he'll portray Nathan Drake for narrative framing of a younger Nathan Drake story.

Staring Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake as Desmond Miles.

How dare an action hero be played by an actor older than the fictional character in question

I desire only fanatical accuracy

Ooh, so Spidey-Drake will be a flashback bookended by Nathan Fireflyion reminiscing in the attic looking at his old treasures.

Neat.

For those that don't know, Tom Holland (Spiderman) was already cast as Nathan Drake. Fillion will probably play someone else.

Apparently he's playing the collection too.

Nathan Fillion as a bit of an older Drake in a story we haven't seen yet. He's always been the perfect guy to play Drake and it's weird af how people now DON'T want him to lol.

The dude could easily get in-shape and do an adventure movie.

It'd be kinda cool if this is in canon with the games and it's Fillon as post-UC4 Drake telling the story of him as a kid with Holland as Young Drake.

Either Fillion is going to play the villain or a older Drake.

The movie will be about young Drake probably after he met Sully a D before the brother gets locked up.

Marlon Wayans was cast as Robin for Batman Forever before Tim Burton was dropped for Schumacher.
He apparently still gets royalties from it because he had signed on and everything.

The date is confusing, but are we sure this isn't a reference to Drake's song "Started from the Bottom"?

Judging by the reactions, I became convinced Nathan Fillion was around 60 years old. And he is the same age than Marky Mark ?

Would love to see him play Nathan Drake but based on the Holland stuff it seems they're going in a different direction.

All the people saying he's "too old" are delusional.

Don't care how old he is, I really wanna see Fillion as Nathan Drake!
Could have fooled me...
Says more about your faculties than it says anything about Uncharted 4, wouldn't you think? I mean, gosh, if I were to mistake Uncharted 4 for a movie, while I have a controller in my hands, I'd be pretty worried. Sounds like there's even some dissociation in play there.
