Same here. I'll buy the games as many times as they wanna release it.Man... Fuck it, I will triple dip for Hotline Miami 1 and 2 on switch.
I have a deep love for Devolver's back catalog. I will totally re-buy Not A Hero, Crossing Souls, and pretty much whatever they put out.Same here. I'll buy the games as many times as they wanna release it.
Yeah, I just can't hang with holding the Vita in a way that's even more cramped than Joycons.Tate mode on the Vita has been the best way to play Downwell by far, it would be great if some folks off Vita island got to experience the game that way.
That is hilariously accurate in hindsight!e3 really was the only period where Switch game announcement stopped...guess we are back to the daily schedule ...lol.
My sentiments exactly. It is rare that they produce a game I don't want.

Fingers crossed Ruiner is the next announcement....then BroForce
Came here to post this, glad the first two posts got me covered
Oh yes right! Devolver somewhat confirmed it in a tweet, but I would enjoy a proper announcement with trailer and details....and a release date.
Do you like covering other people...?Came here to post this, glad the first two posts got me covered
Wow that's incredible that he works for EPD now! He deserves it too!One thing that might get in the way of a potential Downwell port is the fact that the game's creator now works directly for Nintendo as part of EPD...
Either he'd have to agree to have someone else port it, or NCL would have to let him port it on company time (meaning that it would technically be a 1st party developed port, also meaning that there would probably be some legal hoops to jump through for both Nintendo and Devolver...)
This is my number 1 want!
I guess I am going to keep bumping this as these games get announced.
Crossing Souls hitting on July 26th for $14.99

OP updated'Not a Hero: Super Snazzy Edition' IS NOT amongst the Devolver Switch titles remaining this year.
This new Switch port is published by Team 17.
Actually it is. Team 17 published the super Snazzy edition for XBone. so far Devolver/team 17 are co publishers. That is how Devolver handles a lot of their games. Also their original tweet simply promised over a dozen games from their back catalog, and new games were coming to switch. they didn't say they were necessarily publishing said games, so its entirely possible that team 17 will solely publish Not a Hero on Switch, but that Devolver still counted it among that "dozen" plus.'Not a Hero: Super Snazzy Edition' IS NOT amongst the Devolver Switch titles remaining this year.

It's my most played mobile game of all time, full stop. In my top 3 roguelikes of all time, right next to Spelunky and Binding of Isaac. It's beyond incredible.
I'm hoping one of those games is Serious Sam.Actually it is. Team 17 published the super Snazzy edition for XBone. so far Devolver/team 17 are co publishers. Interesting. I wonder if this is the kind of deal Devolver strikes with most of it's published IPs. They do seem like an ultra cool publisher, but I guess ultimately it depends on how much they aid in the financing of the game. The less financially involved they are outside of publishing, the less likely they have any ownership over the IPs that they publish....I suspect.Ok, Devolver is the publisher of 'Not A Hero' in this Switch version.
My mistake came from NintendoEverything posting the trailer of the Snazzy Edition for Xbox One, which is published by Team17, to illustrate the news of the Switch version. Good journalism work of NintendoEverything, posting a trailer from a different system and with the logo of a different publisher, without specifying this in the text of the article. It remembers me to some of these creepy Youtube sites like Contranetwork, posting Steam trailers by adding the Switch logo, and publishing the trailers in their channels as official footage of the Switch version.
It should be noted that Roll7 is the owner of all their IPs. They own the rights to 'OlliOlli' and they own the rights to 'Not A Hero'.
And they license each version of the game in a separate basis.
For example, they self-published the Vita version of 'OlliOlli' but licensed the PC version to Devolver.
In the same way, they licensed 'Not a Hero' in its PC and PS4 version to Devolver, and the Xbox One version to Team17.

Thanks for the bit of history. I love learning tidbits like that.Nope, Roll7 is an exception to the rule. They were already famous with 'OlliOlli', selected by Sony as one of the highlights of the indie brand in Playstation, back in a time in which very few indie titles were published in consoles. And Devolver was in his first years when they signed the contract to bring 'OlliOlli' to Steam. Prior to the 2014 circa, to have one of the most famous indie titles published in Steam was a synonym of selling hundreds of thousands of copies.
All started to change in this same year, thought. Steam Greenlight dramatically increased the number of indie releases in Steam. And most importantly, Playstation 4 was in its first year and desperate for new games to create a varied catalogue, and Vita was in a hard position in the market in which indie developers where the only ones that Sony can afford to have in the system because it was very cheap to sign temporary exclusives, normally by advancing some of the money of the initial sales or by signing deals to be in Playstation Plus in the future, guaranteeing a fixed profit for the game.
With this increase of indie releases in both markets, and by normalizing indie games as the driving force of these catalogues, visibility started to be very complicated in 2015. And it's very hard to have a guaranteed success, even for publishers like Devolver or even if you are a very well regarded developer with a big success in the past. In the current market, you really need to release your games in various systems to reduce the risk.
Game already has TATE mode on Vita and mobile.Pleeeeeeeeeeease. Would instantly become the best version of that game
