So claiming that a civil war will break out is an opinion?
I think everyone knows why Facebook is fine with InfoWars, but they should stop claiming they are against fake
news. They are simply trying to do some token efforts to get good PR, they don't really care about anything else.
It's kinda impressive how effortlessly Facebook comes across as the most evil and just fucking inhumane of the big three internet companies, and that's saying something when your competition is Google and Amazon.

You can make the case that racism or sexism are "different points of view" (I don't agree, but whatever). But how can anyone possibly defend blatant lies as speech that needs a platform? Calling the kids at Newtown crisis actors isn't an opinion, it's a statement of fact, and a demonstrably false one at that, and there's no defense that justifies giving that sort of bald-faced reprehensible lie space on your platform. I guess the argument "conservative idiots' money spends too" doesn't come off nearly as well; at least it would be honest.
