How are y'all gonna excuse this though?
They'll just dust of the old chestnut of "He's just telling it like it is" And never actually engage at all.

Losing your culture is actually a legitimate complaint. But I find that skin color has very little to do with culture, language is the main thing. I went back to philippines and theres obviously non-malay looking filipinos. Are they more filipino than me? hell yeah they are I can barely speak the language.

Rich coming from someone who has zero culture or any appreciation for it, hates anything or anyone different and has the tackiest personal taste on the planet.

THE SUN. Perfect. Trump to a tee.

Thankfully, those who are turning fascist with anger are in the minority in Europe. (for now)

But it's undeniable the creep has set in across eastern Europe and is spreading.

Brexit was jaw dropping, just like the American vote people were apathetic as they thought everything would be fine and the candidates were weak. Now in the UK it's rats jumping from a sinking ship. Boris was pro-stay initially until he figured he might have a chance flipping.

It's uncertainty by these countries governments that riles people up, when they are lead by utter morons.

Immigration produced a nation where someone like him could become president, so maybe he has a point.

Language changes. English was not the same a 100 years ago, and I don't think I would fully understand someone from 100 years from now.

But I get what you're trying to say. Immigrants don't immediately learn the host languages. But that's a problem with education, and usually the next generation fully integrates.

Straight from the Miller/Bannon playbook. The first black president followed by a white supremicist. Sad state of affairs.

I see we're still dodging the Immigration into Europe talk tho.
Not really, think I said my piece on my last post.

And now he said he's going to end war in Africa?

People have defended a logical position and acknowledged anger for their own countries.

I pose you one question, how much has Europe benefited from the attacks in Iraq, Syria, Lybia and others?

That's not true. They'd consider the U.S. better off as a country if we were still slaves as well.

Actually, I think they're past that, and would rather there have been no slavery at all because then there wouldn't be any black people in the US.

While there's a ton of dipshits that actually would love to own black slaves, I think sadly there's way more white people that wish y'all would "go back to Africa." For now white people still agree slavery, as a concept, is wrong. Hope that sentiment in the US never changes. It's already terrifying seeing them decide it's okay to psychologically and physically torture children because the children aren't "legal."

When white people start saying it's okay to enslave someone that broke the law, then that's when it's time to GTFO.

"Y'all should go back to where you came from" is a really weird sentiment to have for a country created by a bunch of murderous colonisers.

As for the bolded, doesn't the 13 Amendment actually state that or am I misreading it?

"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Oh no I totally agree.

It's also really weird to say because...if you're born here, where are you supposed to go back to? If I'm supposed to go back to China, if a black person is supposed to go back to Africa, by that logic they should go back to Europe or whatever shitpit they crawled out of. Who knows.

Better question is how much have they spent, Britain, France, Germany, Spain on those attacks?
Russian oil prices are already stable with that pipeline in place, but the larger one is still a question.
None of this is never NOT about resources. It's too much effort unless it's local.

I was just reflecting on that particular line of thinking certain people have.

I did add to my post in regards to the bit about enslavement of people who commit crimes.

"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Is the 13th Amendment not suggesting that slavery and involuntary servitude is ok as punishment for crimes that someone is convicted for?

They were all declarations of war by America and we supported them, as per the agreement.

What did Europe get for it's troubles?

You can figure it out by reading anything I've ever written in the thread or on site.
Immigration is probably the hottest topic in Europe (like the whole sentiment behind Brexit), so that's not a controversial stance at all. Anti-immigration and anti-refugee sentiment is rampant in Europe.

Agreed, and I also don't get why European leaders don't tell him this with full clarity.
At least it doesn't seem like they would?

They really don't know how to handle him.

If I was in that position and Trump would ask me to pay 4% I'd say we're cutting it to 0.5% just to spite him, if he doesn't like it he can gtfo

This how you deal with mafia, don't you?

No, because in this example, you're the hostage. The point to NATO's shared military alliance is to keep y'all safe; we're pretty much good here in the States, what with the giant oceans all around us.

You should actually probably increase your military spending even more than Trump wants, not to appease him, but to be ready when you need it and he inevitably declines to back you up. We're gonna try to get back to normal in 2020, but I wouldn't count on us helping y'all for shit until then

That's a pretty shitty and arrogant generalization if you ask me. It implies "Bad Eastern Europe".
Have you missed Italy's elections? Watch how quickly Germany and France will make a hard turn right if things turn out badly.

Well, the countries and the cultural won't be the same as years ago, that's true. Every single country and every culture goes through metamorphosis over time, nothing stays constant. That is not a bad thing.

Eh, I'm pretty sure fascism and idiots born into privilege becoming clueless politicians are the things that are destroying Western culture.

I mean, I get what you're saying and I'm not a politician obviously.

And I've also changed my mind after your response, in this case I would do EVERYTHING to get the USA out of NATO and then increase the military budget, they can come back when they aren't controlled by the Russians anymore.

I also find 2% kinda ridiculous, I'm pretty sure this was much bigger 10, 20 years ago?

But I also realize this sudden change in American politics is completely unexpected, so yeah, difficult, but I think it would be much better to tell Trump to fuck off instead of taking all his bs.

Man read my post again. I was in Poland when the vote happened for the judges. Don't be silly, my SO is Polish.

I'm saying from that side, the creep of nationalism is coming. Not that everyone from there is one.

I understand the importance. Not sure why you consider me arrogant.

I'm currently trying to come up with anything we have lost.
If we are "losing our culture", I need someone to point out a single thing we have lost.

If anything we've gained wonderful things from immigrants, such as kebab. Food of kings and queens alike.

Not to downplay more meaningful contributions of course, but new food is a good way to show the positive effects on our culture.

Of course we have gained a lot of stuff, food being one of the most obvious contributions. But this "loss of culture" argument is baffling. I can't think of anything at all.

Is it though? I mean what defines where a culture stops and you start losing it? Because culture doesn't sit in stone forever. Even if people never migrated anywhere your culture would change. If you're an old person you lose your culture from when you were young almost no matter what happens. Life happens. Time happens. You can't stop that shit.

Not America
There are legitimate issues when it comes to unchecked immigration into any nation. But this, this is truly something unequivocally sinister, malicious and racist. Previously, that orange cunt has used coded language. This pretty much drops all pretense of veiling his true feelings. Good to know it's out and it'll be very fucking interesting as to who will carry the water for him now, trying to explain what he "actually" meant because the orange cunt apparently can't form cogent sentences in the language he was raised in or that he's such a stable genius that the actual message is hidden between the lines - this time, reading between the lines makes it even worse.

So, fuck Trump, fuck the people who will still keep on supporting him despite this bold show of racism.

Sorry, my bad.

In all fairness, the nationalism of Eastern European countries is mostly a product of gaining autonomy not too long ago.
I guess people still fear everything that could change the status quo.

Yeah that's what I was trying convey, culture is a living thing, it doesn't disappear, it just changes form. Our local brand of idiots like to go on and on about "traditions" dying because of immigrants and it's the stupidest shit.
