Someone Filmed Spider-Man PS4’s Opening Cutscene and Some Gameplay

No idea where this was filmed, just stumbled on this video via Reddit. Shame that there's no in-game audio and its just that music track, but the game still looks really good. Loved the transition from cutscene to gameplay.

I'm assuming this is the opening because, well the video is titled "opening cutscene" and it does seem like a bit of an introduction to the world of Peter Parker.

Apologies if this has already been posted. I searched but couldn't see a thread on this.

Ugh, that glide Spidey does when he kicks the second dude after the first is one of those things I hated about the Arkham games but never noticed in any other footage until now.

Still hyped, though. I do think the Middle Earth games are the only ones with this combat style that doesn't have the main character Sub Zero slide to all enemies when jumping between them.

In Saint-Petersburg on VK Fest.
It's a full game, not a demo. So when everything got to Reddit and etc. they shut down the hands-on area of the game on the festival.

Pretty sure they've said he upgrades to the new suit shortly after the game's intro.

They showed off this opening during the SDCC panel. I don't think they consider it spoilery.

You start with the classic suit. Getting the Advanced Suit is part of the story.

It's crazy how sometimes it just looks like a movie, specially the initial swinging part.

Gameplay still looks like a copy paste of the rocksteady batman games. Not necessarily a bad thing.

But it isn't a press tour, it was available for everyone, who attended festival and according to the organizers — it was really a full game, not a demo. But, from what i understands, stand workers needed to monitor everyone, so sessions aren't more than 15 minutes. After every session they'll need to reboot the game.

Russian press, if i'm remembering it correctly, was send to Poland as part of the preview tour.

I was kinda concerned about the OG costume's colors and stuff when it was first revealed but here it looks absolutely phenomenal! The colors are nice and vibrant. :)
