I'm warming up to the game. Looks good. Will wait for the honeymoon period to end and see the overall opinion of the game before committing tho
Perhaps the demo was only in english, and for this they used a in development version to save time/money

In the movies Peter Parker was a kind of chemist/biologist scientist. What is he now? An electronic engineer? Look at that custom made toast and and all the electronic devices.
It was at SDCC, the game was playable at the marvel booth... lines for days! (Also playable at SDCC were DQ XI and Kingdom Hearts 3!)

that said, it should've never been on display and we'd highly suggest you don't watch the footage. Anything officially released we've selected to ensure you don't accidentally get spoiled on things we want you to experience when you play the game

The devs have mentioned the new suit will be explained ingame, so I guess we'll see why Peter needs to make it.

I'm staying away from this footage as much as possible, but it's getting pretty hard since it's posted everywhere Spider-Man related on Twitter and Reddit. Only one month to go, no need to spoil the opening cutscene of the game. Even scrolling past things, shit just auto plays. It's a bit annoying, I imagine some of this footage will be available on Thursday with some B-Roll from the preview events. Either way I feel terrible for Insomniac, especially with this happening over the weekend, it's hard to get on top of it.
The only thing I can think of is this is what was shown off to press at the press preview event and it somehow got to this event that was supposed to have the same E3 demo, but instead had this on the systems. That's the only thing that can sorta make sense to me, otherwise I have no clue.

This game looks amazing. It's a shame it's being released next to other games that month that's a must buy for me. Will get some time next year after a few price drops. Only way I see myself pushing the other games aside for this is if Insomniac out did themselves for this game story wise.
I'm pretty sure James Stevenson covered this in here, but that footage was neither the full game or final.
correct, it was the preview build of the game which contains the first couple of hours.
thankfully no one seemed to play past the first mission, but still, people watching stuff like the opening cutscene (which we were saving for the experience at home) in suboptimal conditions (with no sound), or seeing someone badly playing the first boss fight... just kind of a huge bummer for everyone on the team
I played the demo for this game, and didn't like how momentum doesn't carry into swinging. I also couldn't figure out the combat. Did anyone else play the demo? What were your impressions?
anyways if you want some sanctioned footage, here's me playing the game on stage at ACG in Hong Kong this weekend and somehow beating Shocker even though my controller stopped responding mostly during the boss fight (but I think I played pretty good until that point)

Whoever plugged in that Raimi music over the video is fucking evil for giving me false hope.
Having him wear the OG suit only makes me more confident this is a Miles Morales game in disguise.
Peter's gonna get attacked/taken prisoner by the villains we saw in the E3 trailer, and Miles will have to save him and take them all down.
That and Insomniac saying the LE statue is "a huge spoiler" and won't be showing it before launch...the statue is Miles in the suit we've all seen up until this point with the mask off.
