EOX sold out in Amazon and Yodobashi.
Exclusive JRPG thirst is real.
Get a GPDWin/2. ;)What do you think could be the chances for Trails in the Sky games to make it to the Switch ?
I'd say low to 0 : (. Hppe I'm wrong.
My wife is playing the first one as her first real RPG and she likes it but only wants handheld gaming. And it's only available on PC in English if I remember that right.
Or would it be playable on a tablet... at least ?
I'm fully expecting Dotemu to port Ys Origin to Switch, and for them to probably pursue other Ys VI engine ports (Napishtim, Felghana, possibly TiTS trilogy) to PS4/XB1/NSW. Mastiff expressed interested in porting Gurumin to Switch so I bet that's happening too.DotEmu ported Ys Origin to PS4 and Xbox One, so I guess there's a non-0 chance they might also get their hands on Trails in the Sky. However, there would also be a bunch of other Ys games they could port and they didn't release Origin on Switch either, so I guess the chance is pretty close to 0 regardless.
After Ys VIII success on Switch, I'm fully expecting NIS to port Sen 1-2 Kai and NISA to bring them overseas. Honestly NISA may bring the PS4 versions at the same time too given Xseed's conspicuous silence regarding them. I'm sure the competition is fierce between them for grabbing Sen 3-4 too.As seen by Ys8 overall success, NISA will likely have some convincing arguments. The trends in Japan also aren't exactly in Falcoms current strategys favour, which is very Japan focused. PS is in decline in Japan, that despite the PS4slim MHW bundle they still saw decline is just the most recent confirmation of the trend.
I think the scenario most Falcom fans are hoping for is that Xseed gets CS3/4 and either starts Switch porting themselves (which they may need to in order to stay competitive) or NIS/A just does the Switch releases. CS3/4 is really Xseed's to lose but then again so was Ys VIII.I really don't want a tonal shift in the translations between CoS 1-2 and CoS 3-4 so that means xseed has to do them for me to care.
Whoever ports the to Switch next I don't care since they will use the original translation (since Falcom will own them)
The 3DS games did pretty well imo. Like you said, since there's no genre competition on Switch, I hope/think the Switch game will be able to become the best-selling game in the series for over a decade.Famista is doing low flights after Super Famicom. Its best selling entries barely topped 100k even on DS. With zero genre competition Switch entry will outsell them in a few weeks.
Decade? Super Famista 5 came out in 1996.The 3DS games did pretty well imo. Like you said, since there's no genre competition on Switch, I hope/think the Switch game will be able to become the best-selling game in the series for over a decade.
lol 2 decades :P

what exactly did they annouce this time? Did they do too much pervy stuff on stream?Wasn't expecting that, that's nice to hear. Hopefully 3DS series can end on a high note.
More like retailers and Atlus having realistic expectations. We'll see how long it takes them to send a second shipment.

Btw, Senran Kagura livestream got nuked into oblivion, ha ha.
I think they'd best hold off on restocking robot kit, but variety kit and vehicle kit seem solidJapan will be one of the these few places in the world Labo will get additional shipments.

One reason is that for a retail release PS4 comes with 2 disks, 1 for each collection while at Switch the cartridge includes only the first and you have to download the second. So what's the reason MMXLC1+2 sold better on PS4? It strikes me as the type of game that would sell better on Switch, but maybe that's just me (I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the Japanese market I admit.)
Gotcha, thanks! One reason is that for a retail release PS4 comes with 2 disks, 1 for each collection while at Switch the cartridge includes only the first and you have to download the second.
They said they are increasing Switch output and they are doing it. Jump Force is the only big game it missed and that is most likely heading for a later release because of FighterZ announcement.

From 2019 things should improve even more.
I was told that porting an existing engine to the Switch wasn't easy and that Konami couldn't do it. And to ask EA about it when I pointed out how stupid it was of Konami to not have a Switch SKU for Winning ElevenKonami's asleep at the wheel. They're basically handing yen over to EA and Namco at this point.

Powapuro uses a custom engine that still runs on Vita of all things. It should be an effortless port.I was told that porting an existing engine to the Switch wasn't easy and that Konami couldn't do it. One Piece was announced in December.

And if Konami doesn't want to port the Fox Engine (even though it runs on far lower spec machines than Switch) they could still do a custom Switch PES alongside the other version. They did that for Wii and PSP/3DS forever.
What mocking tweets?probably 0, Falcom just isn't interested in Nintendo
despite CEO said otherwise, those mocking tweets from the past does show something fishy between two companies.
Oh so you were only talking about games announced this year? My apologies
Is not easy, that's why things require planification. Also, it shouldn't be harder than it was porting it to the PS3.I was told that porting an existing engine to the Switch wasn't easy and that Konami couldn't do it. I was sarcastic with my answer. Easy or not Konami is downright stupid to not attempt to tap the marketIs not easy, that's why things require planification. Also, it shouldn't be harder than it was porting it to the PS3.

Few doesn't mean only! How can you forget about France lol.... i do feel France will need restock there. They are huge fan of nintendo product.
And we all know couple means two.
