So that makes two SEGA reps, two Capcom, two Konami. All we need now is another Namco and another Squeenix and we equal as far as third parties go
Honestly, after Snake was introduced, my third party wishlist went:
-Mega Man
-Simon Belmont
-Bomberman
-Pac-Man
-Ryu
-An FF1-6 character
-Ryu Hayabusa
Like, almost all of those are represented now except Haybusa, and the FF character was Cloud. Who else could they possibly pick, except like, a Dragon Quest character or Arthur?

Both would be beautiful, but SCIV for the default, please.It's been heavily rumored for a while, but it will be nice for it to finally be confirmed.

I've only played through Castlevania 1. It was way too hard to be truly enjoyable, but I still loved the aesthetic and premise. And while "Bloody Tears" is great, "Vampire Killer" is one of the best tracks in all of gaming music. In fact, the quality of the songs alone in the Castlevania is enough to justify a rep.
But if/when Simon is announced, it will hopefully be enough to finally get me to blaze through SCIV on my SNES Classic!

I prefer Kojima but going by Bomberman R it'll probably be classic. Though I'm hoping they'll have a Kojima costume.

Yoooo, this is amazing! And totally something Smash would do to. Take a well-known track and rearrange it with a whole different genre.
Like, there's no chance it wouldn't come with Simon, and it stands a strong chance of appearing in the reveal trailer, but if Simon does get in, I need my Vampire Killer fix.

Jill with her STARS beret and shoulder pads is an iconic design. Give her the RE1 grenade launcher with round types to manage (flame, acid, nitrogen) and a stun baton from RE5. Give her BOWs for her specials -- for example, her recovery sweeps her skyward with a murder of crow, her side special has her sidestep a lunging Hunter that strikes her opponent instead, etc. And for her Final Smash, have her leap into a helicopter and fire rockets.
Spencer Estate for her stage, of course!

If there were to be only one more third party character, I feel this is the right one to go with.

Seriously though Rayman was robbed.
I just want:
- beefy thighs and power-walk animation
- wiggle whip
- skeletons that explode into fire
- medusa heads with petrifying effects
- a clocktower (could be a section of a Castle Siege-style stage)
Everything else is a bonus.

I mean, what are the odds of that on the eve of a broadcast where a character reveal is nearly guaranteed, amidst otherwise accurate rumors that have also included Simon?

There's never been a limit on how many characters a third party can have. Capcom already has two, for example.
