That Metal Gear Solid 4 thread is killing me, especially this one section from a poster not particularly fond of the entry.

I'm not being hyperbolic here when I say MGS4 is one of the top most disappointing things to happen in my life and I used to wallow in regret and shame. It's easily top five. I still haven't bothered to play an MGS game that came out after it despite probably digging the ideas of V and Peace Walker. The pain is just too real.
Is dub Shippuden that much worse nowadays? Haven't watched it on the block in well....more than a while actually.

Saber is oddly a pretty durable character. I'm on season 2 and Gilgamesh is fucking OP and he's less of an idiot and more super cocky. So far it seems like the less broken one is UBW Archer and Saber

That is meta as fuck and fucking hilarious, these guys have no sense of humor.
If these jokes were in the Japanese script, these people would be praising them. In fact, there is an actual example of this. Krillin's ring tone being the One Piece theme is a meta joke (which isn't even Dragon Ball related like all the dub additions are) and everyone loved that.
It's obvious how little of a sense of humor they have when ever you try to debate DBZ. At least Jojo fans know how stupid Jojo can be and is.
Even with all the expanded lore Fate has nowadays, Gilgamesh is still in the top 5 most powerful servants. He's practically considered a god. He really only ever loses due to his arrogance and ego.
And yes, Cu has an instant kill NP, but never kills anyone with it because he has shitty luck and a lot of servants have ways around his instant kill NP.
Fate lore is silly. Also filled with deus ex machinas, asspulls, and power levels.
What's great is that in Japanese, Krillin and Luffy share the same voice. That's probably why they added that easter egg.
For real... especially when it comes to power levels. Even though Toriyama's whole point during those arcs was to show that "power levels are bullshit" and can't be easily measured.
I think I have only done it once just for comedies sake. I haven't been in that thread since the last ep aired. Dragonball ain't my life and I'm passionate about other animes.

But if the original writing is poor, I want to see that for myself. I don't want some translator putting his own take and fixes onto the storyline from the original writing. I want to be able to experience and criticize the originally intended art.
