Something I guess obvious to note about the latest PQ2 trailer

SEES seems to get transported to the cinema world while going through the stairs from Tartarus (tho we still only see P3MC, Mitsuru, Aki, Shinji and Junpei so far), so it's reasonable to say the IT also gets transported while entering the TV in Junes (also a scene from pv1). That plus the confirmation the PT get there while in Mementos means all of them got there through their respective Shadow-filled places.

Love the music at the end part of mementos, I'd completely forgotten about it

The ultimate Personas are all too high level in 5, not sure I'm even going to reach any of them by the end

Also cool detail, SEES is in the Tziah section of Tartarus during the scene

I wonder if we're getting specific dates like in Q

Maximize the Twins' Confidant first so you can pay your way to making those Persona. That's what I did. I kinda ran out of money at the end, but you can just grind for that in (Depths) Mementos by holding Shadows up and demanding money. Keep doing that til you run out of SP then recharge with the Twins and repeat.

There's also the boss of Futaba's confidant that you can just confuse over and over again and they'll give you a lot of money if I recall correctly.
I think confusion works well for all monsters actually but the Futaba bosses are just on another level.

I could never get the confuse money exploit to work... Maybe I'll try it on that one again next time I play.

I don't share a love for Hifumi like the rest of the people who played P5 seem to, but this fan art is fucking beautiful:

I'm gonna be that guy and say I wish we had Hifumi instead of Makoto. I think Makoto is great, but Hifumi was so chuuni and weird that I wanted to see more.

I found Hafumi one of the less interesting confidants, I wouldn't swap her for any of the party characters

I liked Hifumi, thought she was amusing and her story was interesting enough. That said, I'd never choose her (or any of the non-PT Confidants) over any of my team members.

are bosses crit immune in Persona 5?

Couldn't get a single crit on either of the first two palace bosses despite buffing myself with Rebellion

Hey PersonaEra, I've got another question. It's been a while since I've played P3/4 and I've forgotten.

When approaching Confidants, the game tells you that if you have a Persona of the same Arcana as the Confidant that it'll boost your relationship more. My question is - does it matter what level that Persona is? For instance, if I don't currently have a Persona of the Arcana in question, can I just summon the cheapest one available to me without losing points?

The level does not matter. Yea you can just get the cheapest one. And also the Persona does not need to be the active one, just among the ones you have on hand.

Timeskip Ryuji dyes his hair back black... interesting...

What about timeskip Ann and Makoto?

Worth noting this isn't a time skip it's a fan made alternate universe where the Confidants and Phantom thieves have their rolls swapped.

So a teenage Sojiro is the hero staying with an adult Futaba.

They did a bit for Ann recently.

From what I gather Makoto is basically just taking Sae's roll.

What happens to P5MC?

What happens to P5MC?

Currently a mystery. They apparently are there in some form but it hasn't been revealed yet.

Some people are speculating that he takes the place of Igor based on the last panel here.

Honestly I think it's worth checking out it's pretty interesting. I was a fan of this artist because of their Haru/Joker art but they started doing this and it's pretty fascinating.

Man, I love Scruffy's AU and how much others love it too. Such an awesome concept!

I'm a sucker for good AU's and this really is a fun one.

For those curious a group shot of the new thieves.

(Also damn their newest comic hitting the feels.)

Same! I don't think I've ever seen an AU as fleshed out as this before, with all this art and scenarios actually made into full comics and shit.

(and yeah I saw that too... it was so heavy)

In Persona 4 I kind of turned my nose at physical Personas and focused on elemental damage to take advantage of "One More!"

I've decided to give 'em a chance in 5 and hooooo-whee I'm glad I did. Swift Strike absolutely SLAUGHTERS-the Shadows in Palace 3 did not see this comin', not even the phys resist boys.

Chie's physical attacks are great at first, but she learns upgrades way too late in the game. I got lucky with the skill upgrades on the shuffle time thing and ended up with god's hand and agneyastra early on

P2 is a game that continues to reward replays, but as much as I love it, I really need to stick to a dungeon at a time to avoid getting burnt out. I also talk to lots of NPCs, which doesn't help matters.

Swift Strike is amazing. It can get you through most of the game's mobs, really.

I forget where you get it but there's an accessory that halves the hp cost of physical skills. Maybe from the shopping channel

Was there? I know there's a skill that does that, while there's an accessory that halves the damage received (and stacks on top of other similar effects) but prevents you from dodging ever. Totes worth it if you've got Satanael.

There doesn't seem to be an item for it, but there IS an accessory that reduces all skill costs by 25% (the accessory that comes with the Raidou DLC)

Just as an aside, the DLC accessories in P5 can be broken as hell, which is something considering they're not the DLC's selling point.

The only one I used was the all stats +5 on Haru and you can get a better version of that in the game anyway

On the subject of stat boosts, can we take a moment to talk about how ridiculous Makoto's ultimate gun is?
+10 to all stats. The character closest to that is Ren, and he has to decide between +10 magic or +5 to all stats. (edit: and Yusuke with a +10 agility weapon, which makes sense for him)
I'd just love to see the reasoning behind such an insane boost.

probably because shes the jack of all trades party member. Shes still a worse damage dealer than everyone else in the party, and a worse healer than Morgana. Still better to run than Morgana as his healing is overkill.

It's not ridiculous, it's perfect.

Okay, it is ridiculous, but I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks to that and that... Rare treasure accessory, she got at least +15 all stats by the end of my game.
