Confirmed to be from base PS4. Its a youtube upload so keep that in mind.

Looks great. I'm not a human framerate counter but it seems to targets 60 fps well enough. If there are any dips it's nowhere enough for me to notice them. In fact I didn't realize this was base console footage until I noticed the load times seemed slighty longer than on xbox one X.

Btw Playstation Access has PS4 Pro footage. And it looks obviously fantastic.

So we've seen XB One X, Ps4 Pro, and PS4.

I'm glad it looks and runs well. Ever since the Pro came out I've been paranoid every game will be seriously hampered in some way on the base console.

Matt Walker said they didn't have any English documentation for it. Nor does Capcom have the personal to properly license an engine out.

It's almost always the worst idea possible for a studio to outsource their own engine. It's painful for everyone involved. Always remember that a ton of what you're seeing on screen is because of the developers. Without them DMC5, or any game on this engine would look completely different.

Apart from loading times, res and AA quality, difference between Base and "Pro" consoles footage seems negligible. Not sure if base Xbox One can keep up as well though. RE7 had its problems there.

RE engine is this Gens MT framework. Ridiculous visuals despite silky performance.

Capcom are engine wizards. It's a shame panta Rhei didn't pan out. Or did it basically become the REE?

Previously there were no black characters in the series. That anime didn't exactly light the world on fire so doubt that people were pinning for Morrison to look exactly he did in the show let alone even remembering that he exists.

Looks really good, and since it runs at 60 and looks the way it does on the base PS4 I'm hoping that means a decent PC port. My 760 shouldn't have any trouble running this 1080/60 with similar or slightly higher visual settings.

The Resident Evil Engine made for Resident Evil 7 makes more sense than RE(ach for the moon) Engine just because of the logo they chose to go with.

It does look exactly like the mid-gen version which means no enhanced or improved graphical features on those consoles which is kinda disappointing knowing that they could run this game in 60 FPS on all paltform including base consoles so there are rooms left to improve the graphics and add extra bells and whistles.
