It's not until you properly format the claim :) (there's a template in the OP, super easy to just copy/paste)
the idea is to say that here before you put in the work so you don't have two people post competing ones at the same time.
Regarding this one, I know I'm not supposed to create a OT and forget about it. But a couple of hospital visits have been moved forward before I leave for two weeks this weekend and I haven't had much time to work much on this one for now. I'll see what I can do before I leave, but I'm unsure if I can get something decent in-between the appointments in the next few days.
Just trying to explain why I haven't updated it yet and likely won't be able to so before I leave.

Seeing as nobody has expressed interest, I can take it off your hands if you'd prefer. My OTs are decidedly boring (Exhibit A), but I'm looking forward to playing the game.

It doesn't look like I have the ability yet but I'd like start a thread to discuss people's favorite games from Platinum. I haven't played most of them and I'd like to see which one is folks favorite and how to start planning out my play-throughs. I will hazard a guess that Bayonetta, Vanquish and Nier are high on the list but looking to get some idea of how people feel about the other games.

You got the months but you need about 276 more posts. We don't really do thread requests in here. Mods discontinued that initiative a long time ago. Maybe look into prior PG-related threads and find some active poster in there who could post it for you and maybe maintain it a bit.

Hm dunno, in my book "early xxxx" always just means Q1 which would fit but indies love to slip with their dates and that could just as well be April or May still. I'd prefer if you claimed it late October-ish but I wouldn't shoot it down if you wanted to claim it now. Feels like an edge-case exception.

I'm following the picture guide and copied the code... what exactly is the difference between a link and a permalink? I left-clicked my post number as it said to do in the OP. Is there another link I'm supposed to use?

I'd suggest clearing your post after posting your thread, especially if it's gif heavy.
You've used the URL attached to the post number and not the one that appears when you click it. The former may not be a valid link for users with a different posts per page setting (e.g. https://www.resetera.com/threads/th...ollaborate-read-op.1100/page-36#post-12068488 will no longer take 100ppp users to your post once this thread hits 1,801 posts and a new page is generated) whereas the latter is universal and redirects users to the post regardless of said setting.

edit: okay in fairness, I've just checked on the new forum themes and of course there it works differently now ... you don't need (can't actually) left click them anymore to get this pop up but the post number still offers you the permalink by right clicking. Not impossible to figure out but an annoying UI difference (sigh).

Ah, as Moon edited into his post, post numbers are apparently linked differently on Day/NightEra. Unlike Light/DarkEra, they're already permalinks, so all you need to do is just right-click and select "Copy Link Location" (or your browser's equivalent).

Also, while I am here, would anyone be up for doing a quick job for me regarding my Zone of the Enders OT? I'm looking to get it up tomorrow with it being 72 hours before launch, but this should be done in minutes no problem. If I could do it, I would, but I can't do it right.
Basically, I need png versions of the characters and Orbital Frames. I have jpgs of those I intend to use in the OT I can send over, but I basically need the white borders to do one!

btw, I assume "need the borders to do one" was a typo'd version of "to be gone" and you want them on transparent backgrounds?
