Philadelphia isn't the whole state. What they stated was untrue though.
Is Grassley saying that the restricted documents could be harmful to Trump? As in, he might have tried to ascertain just how forcefully Kavanaugh would protect him from impeachment?
Obviously, but do they have actual documentation that supports our widely held suspicions?
Come on son Clinton won the popular vote but ignored key Battle ground states. This is 10% on her and 90% on the unintelligent electorate that voted for Trump.
Pretty sure they are torture docs from the Bush years. Is Grassley saying that the restricted documents could be harmful to Trump? As in, he might have tried to ascertain just how forcefully Kavanaugh would protect him from impeachment?
They're "sensitive" and "harmful" to the executive branch.
- Cornyn says Dems are making a mob rule out of the hearing sessionGrassley doesn't know who's asking to speak, nor has a grasp of numbers. Geez.
Yep, this is all theater. From the moment Kavanaugh was nominated, there was never any serious doubt that he would be confirmed.
Grassley: You fucking Dems want to follow rules. What a shame!
No, it's just the general "executive privilege" defense, that the president needs to be able to keep certain things secret from the public record because revealing them would damage national security, foreign relations, etc.Is Grassley saying that the restricted documents could be harmful to Trump? They... can't force this to stop in any way? Pointing out how fucked up this entire process has been is what they can do, and hope that two Republicans find their sense of shame (lol).Dems just kinda begging the GOP to stop it. Kinda painful to watch.
It's so great that all of this "outrage" means nothing because nothing is going to be done to stop this confirmation. Good job Dems.
Yup. Here's hoping enough people get fucked over Kavanaugh that they decide that maybe not voting is actually hazardous to their personal health as well as the health of our democracy.Yep, this is all theater. From the moment Kavanaugh was nominated, there was never any serious doubt that he would be confirmed.
What could they be trying to hide? What in Kavanaugh's record could be a problem?
It's so great that all of this "outrage" means nothing because nothing is going to be done to stop this confirmation. Good job Dems.
I don't understand what you want them to do. Stage a coup? It's so great that all of this "outrage" means nothing because nothing is going to be done to stop this confirmation. Good job Dems.
My guess is his hard lean on repealing Roe v Wade. There are a few GOP senators that would vote against it if Kavanaugh said flat out he wants to repeal abortion rights. His "correct" statements seemed to have swayed those needed to confirm him, even though everyone knows Kavanaugh would repeal it in a heart beat. What could they be trying to hide? What in Kavanaugh's record could be a problem?
Yeah that makes sense. It's very troubling to me that republicans are acting like this is normal. My guess is his hard lean on repealing Roe v Wade. What do you want them to do, shoot kavanaugh? Poison a few republicans that the GOP no longer has a majority? Because realistically those are the only paths to stopping this sham, legal or otherwise. It's so great that all of this "outrage" means nothing because nothing is going to be done to stop this confirmation. Good job Dems.
Loool so dumb. I needed a laugh given how depressing this all is.
He was a part of the Bush administration when they decided on their torture policy. He lied about this under oath when he was confirmed for the Circuit Court in 2006. He's a partisan hack who is 100% going to do whatever he can to gut Roe. Oh, and he was suddenly able to pay off thousands and thousands of dollars for debt mysteriously before being nominated.
