Absolutely. There's a definite learning curve to the webswinging, mainly in keeping momentum up and learning how to land exactly where you want to land. Also people who think those boss chases are canned QTEs are in for a surprise.
What are the patch notes?
I'm getting increasingly jealous of people with those beautiful physical copies :( at least I'll be able to go swing though NYC without having to change disks once I'm done with the main story :P
There are better OT names for Spidey though.

A bunch of bug fixes, performance/balance stuff and overall improvements.
But also stuff like more accessibility options, photo mode, and a suit power for the Velocity suit.
I think I enjoy swinging at a lower altitude than higher. Gotta go fast. Not really sure what's going on with the physics here, though. I've been trying to swing in between the cars as close to the floor as possible but I think there's a hard threshold distance from the ground where you can't shoot out the web anymore.

I wish every game would do the hud fading in and out like Dark Souls 2 did. It's the only thing about the game that was any good (Don't @ me DS2 fans, ya wrong :P)

Don't you just pop the disc in and it starts installing? I just asked my wife to do that cause I'm stuck at work.

Yeah, takes about an hour on my Pro. Oh well, gives my super slow internet enough time to download the patch.
It arrived! Sitting here watching the 4GB patch download. I swear my internet is trolling me today, it's usually faster. For what it's worth, I ordered from The Game Collection and there's no code inside for the early unlock of the three suits? I'm happy to go about getting them the old fashioned way, but I thought that was a pre-order bonus with all copies. The only insert that came with it had the control scheme on one side and a PS+ ad on the other.
Me neither, but if it's anything like Spider-man 2, I'll get back to it a lot even after some months, be it simply to swing around :)

I know. It hit me in the feels when I first read(reminds me of when I used to watch sipder animated series). I just though it was a miss opportunity to make fun of some things that happens in the last couple of weeks(and take use of Ricky marvelous cover art).

They have swapped midnight releases for 9pm releases and most GameStops should be doing the 9pm releases.
