New trademarks from Nintendo: Golden Sun, Rhythm Heaven and two more

Does this even mean much didn't we get Waverace and other IPs before and isn't it pretty standard for Nintendo to trademark IPs even if they are not planning a new game.

I never beat the first two Golden Sun games. Remakes incoming? Because I'd be down...

Nintendo renews trademarks all the time. When will people learn?

All four will be combined into one big game

As always, this doesn't necessarily mean that they're making new games.

2 - Remake/port of the GBA ones
3 - SMBU character

Maybe they are adding the first two Golden Sun to the games they're giving away with the Online? Considering they only seem to be NES for now I don't think so.

Probably nothing. I'll die if they remake / remaster or make a new Golden Sun game.

I'd love for any of those to happen, but remember there is always possibility 4 - absolutely nothing.

Probably means nothing considering they still sell Golden Sun on the eshop

These trademarks usually don't mean anything, right? I remember tons of threads about new Eternal Darkness trademarks and nothing happened.

Probably not... but only because no matter how hard I try, I lose interest in handheld games super fast. Last one I beat was A Link Between Worlds back when it came out.

If they do remakes/ports yeah, that's possible. There's not really any evidence to suggest Nintendo is going to start making new 3DS games though.

I still don't understand the hype around Golden Sun and i've played every one of them.

I want to will Golden Sun into existence. It's an absolute shame that the IP practically disappeared like it did.

Doesn't make sense for Rhythm Heaven, they already did a Best-Of collection for it on 3DS.

Unlike some of nintendos studios, Camelot has already moved to switch development (Mario Tennis aces). If they're working on a golden sun product, it won't be on 3DS.

That doesn't preclude the possibility of Nintendo having handed the franchise to some other developer though.
